Sunday, May 02, 2010

On 14 Apr 2010, the United States Library of Congress announced that they will archive ALL twitter messages put up by the public.
These will form part of the digital archives for historians and researchers. Although each tweet is only 140 characters, many significant events have been captured in Twitter, eg. Us presidential elections, protests, etc. So far 167 terrabytes have been catalogued.
Think before you next twitter as they are all captured.
HAHAHAHAHA Be careful ah you all. Thank god i don't have a twitter account. Wouldn't want people studying my life from my tweets 100years from now XP
