Mac breakfast at Cityhall with NP Clique. At least that was what we planned. But... Mantou was late cause she decided to start on her tutorial this morning, qian was late and decided she didn't want breakfast anyway, jia was late cause she decided to take a bus to cityhall from bukit batok -_- well she reached half an hour later than our meeting time and finished her hot cakes in 15mintes lol i was impressed hahaha and bih didn't want to eat either, so in the end only me and xin had mac breakfast together while Bih gave us new info on her "situation" to digest. And then we bought maclunch take away for mantou and met her and qian at Raffles Place mrt before heading down to the river to support Benson in his dragonboat competition. As usual, their competition has finished by the time we reached lol we only got to see them row their boat back to the floating platform hahahha They had a rematch cause one of the boats capsized but he didn't know what time was the rematch so he asked us to go out and have fun instead lo
Me and qian wanted to have Buffet at Japanese Village but jia "didn't have money" and some of them were still full from their breakfast so we ended up catching "The Last Song" instead. Personally, i preferred the book and found the movie rather boring, but that's always the case isn't it, the book being better than the movie spin-off. Anyway, Miley Cyrus was ugly. Will seemed smarter and wittier in the book. They totally removed the pastor and the scene where Blaze got burnt by Marcus. They didn't have a conclusion on Ronnie's court-case on shop-lifting, in which case the court case wasn't even mentioned. I could go on forever hahaha but for some reason, Qian, Xin, bih and jia ended up crying for the movie (at the scene the father collapsed and was sent to the hospital, and then at his funeral when Ronnie played the piano. But 3 of them haven't read the book yet so maybe that's why) while mantou pretended to cry so she didn't seem so cold-blooded oO hahahha I'm not saying the movie was bad, it was okay, and there were some funny parts, im just saying i prefer the book lol ok nvm let's move on hahaha
Jia left to meet her mum after the movie, while the rest of us had dinner at Ichiban. Bought ShaSha Wei Zi Ai 8 from comics connections! hahaha And then went to Times to find Fallen, but they didn't have it so i ended up buying "Graceling" by Kristin Cashore, should be a good read hahahha I realised that a lot of the books i read this year seem to have a sequel. "Graceling" has "fire"-though it's more of a companion book rather than a sequel, "Beautiful Creatures" has "Beautiful Darkness", Hunger Games 3, and both Hush Hush and Fallen have their sequels coming out in October and November this year hahaha Ah, so many books to buy even though my mum asked me to stop buying books since we're moving hahaha Ahwell. After that we just walked around lo Met up with Benson and then we all went home, except Benson who went to Xin's home *wink* hahahahah
