496: New handphone

Time: 10:46pm

After the new year, after my dad calls starhub to see if he could get any vouchers cause we used to get them when our contract ends, im gonna get my new phone.

And it's NOT gonna be a touch-screen phone.

Why?

1. cos it's EVERYWHERE. Seriously.
2. cos it's black. I had a black phone once, the samsung flip phone, and it leaves ugly fingerprints all over it. My current phone is red. So im gonna choose another colour lol

3. cos it's too complicated. It took me awhile to figure out how to sms on bih's phone, and till now i still don't know how to scroll down Jia's list of contacts oO

4. cos i really don't need so many functions hahaha All i need is a phone that i can call with, sms with, listen to the radio and take decent pictures(and i don't even take pictures that often lo). I don't care if i can go online, i have a laptop for that. And i don't have the patience for the page to load slowly hahah

5. cos i'll probably drop my phone. Touch screen phones look fragile and their screens look highly scratchable, and i don't cut my nails until it starts hurting my palm when i write or when i can no longer type properly with the nails LOL So yeah. I don't wanna be like bih. "OH NO! 3SCRATCHES!!! :'( *emo whole day*

6. cos i dunno what to do with it when im bored. With the flip phone, i'll flip it open and close lol with the slide phone, i slide it in and out. With a touch screen phone, i do what? Tap the screen? Retarded la. Or hit it against something.. hmmmm


Okay, that's about it i think, if i think of more i'll come back and edit hahahah So after all this shit you've read, i haven't told you reach phone im getting. So here goes.

Yeah it fits my requirements.

It's just came out, so i won't see it everywhere i go, at least not for awhile. It's WHITE(and pink), new colour checked. Actually only available in black and white la so.. ahwell the design's quite chic though. Should be user-friendly la haha i don't really know cause i've never used a LG phone before but it can't be more complicated than a touch-screen right? It has all the basic functions i requre and a 5mp camera, more than i asked for. Scratches are not as obvious on white phones haha and no ugly fingerprints? hahaha and last but not least, i can still slide it in and out when im bored ^^

YUP seriously la at the handphone shop, like 90% of the phones on display were touch-screens bloodyhell so yahlo. Not much choice available. Ahwell. I think i'll go with this one. =D
