Tried my hand at Typing Race (on facebook) again after a looonng haitus.

So anyway when i finally won a race, along with $1713, this was what i had to type out LOL

In my opinion the best thing you can do is find a person who loves you for exactly what you are. Good mood, bad mood, ugly, pretty, handsome, what have you. The right person is still going to think the sun shines out of your ass. By juno.

Met up with Qian for lunch in school. (mantou overslept, bih didn't come cause she had work to do) Had Katsu Don at Makan Place.

Set up the booth outside Makan Place to sell NDC tickets. Well techinically, we did not "set up" anything LOL We just went to the table, grabbed a few more chairs, put the tickets on the table, and sat our butt there till 2pm LOL

After 2hours (or less), we sold a grand total of... wait for it... FOUR tickets! LOL And you know what's more pathetic than that? 3 was bought by us LOL Me, Mantou and Qian respectiely ^^ The other one was bought by Katherine. And stupid Nigel didn't come back after he said he would LOL That idiot really did put our 6-7years friendship on the line Blah. I'll just deduct $5 from his birthday budget :)

So i went back home, and now I'm fresh from my afternoon nap :)

Nah, i did not confront the teacher LOL Case closed.

Met up with Bih, Mantou and Qian after that to do the "Focus group discussion" with Melvin and ZhuangYing.

Did the EBA quiz 2 online hahaha 1st attempt:34/40 and 2nd attempt:36/40 :) Mantou's 2nd attempt was 38/40. Jealous sia.

Grabbed a donut at the atrium deli and a black pepper chicken pau at Cheers. It smelt kinda weird, but it tasted fine.

Went home after that.

There's no school tomorrow, but we have to be there anyway to set up booth outside Makan Place to sell the NDC tickets.

Not to mention, there's still EBA and ECD reports i have to start on, due this Sunday and coming Monday respectively.

Sucks like hell. Looking forward to Saturday though :)

Okay la, it wasn't as bad as the time i lost my EZlink card.

I didn't get beaten up cause my mum was lying on the bed and reading newspapers/watching tv. I did get scolded and reprimanded and lectured for 1hour 20minutes though.

According to the letter, i was absent on 2dates. 1) 3rd June and 2) 15th July. I wasn't absent on 3rd june, probably more than 15minutes late or something and my teacher marked me as absent. I was indeed absent on 15th July though, like i mentioned, studying for the ECD common test.

Sigh. So...

My mom wants me to leave the house 2hours before my lessons O_o Currently, i wake up 1.5hours before my lessons omg. I do that during exams and according to my experience, leaving the house at 7am for a 9am lesson means i'll reach school by 8am because the traffic is fast. While i can't do a 7am, i'll leave the house 1.5hours to 1.25hours earlier though. I'll be just on time then.

Other than that, my dad wants me to reply to his reflective email. I haven't received it yet so no comments.

On a brighter note, final exam for japanese's over LOL Should be able to score well, i think?

Blogger's screwing up again. GREAT! Just the way to make my morning even BETTER!

I have no lessons today until 6PM and the plan was to sleep till 2 and wake up and study for my japanese exam later, but at 10.30am, i received a call from my dad SCREAMING into my ear telling me how dissapointed he is in me. He NEVER screams at me. Okay maybe once or twice when i failed maths in primary 4 or 5, or when i screwed up the computer, but yah, he rarely even scolds me, let say screaming.

So what was the deal about? They received the warning letter from NgeeAnn saying i was low on attendance for fmgt tutorials. Seriously! So i was occasionally late for a few times, but i swear! Other than the ONE TIME i skipped fmgt tutorial to STUDY for the ECD common test, i have NEVER skipped another fmgt tutorial. I skip once, and i get a low attendance warning?!!! What about the idiots who skip every other week?! This is ridiculous. And the funnier part. My parents wouldn't believe me.

HAH. Yes, you got that right. They chose to believe a stupid computer generated email over their only child. Think about how that made me feel. People can't get along without trust, and my own parents wouldn't trust me when i said i attended my lessons. And all the while, they talked about how they wouldn't leave me a single penny and all that crap. And guess what, I WASN'T EVEN THINKING ABOUT THAT! Who do they think i am? A character in a HongKong drama serial featuring family members fighting over the inheritance? All i could think about was how MY OWN PARENTS DOESN'T TRUST ME. What have i done to deserve this? Past history? No. I have perfect attendance in primary and secondary school, they wouldn't allow me to skip even if i was sick!

Seriously! And like what they always do, they drift from one topic to another and start scolding me on all areas of my life. And suddenly, I'm hanging out with bad people? Other than Bih, they have NEVER met or talked to any of my poly clique. And they just assumed my low attendance is because im hanging out with "bad people" So i've been going out a lot more recently, that doesn't mean im with bad people doing bad things wth. 3/4 of the time, all we ever did was have DINNER, and you know why? Cause my mom didn't cook! They know i hang out with Bih, and they know Bih's a good girl, so why would people Bih hang out with, people I also hang out with now (except the slave drivers) become bad people? Even if they didn't trust my taste in friends, they should have taken into consideration that Bih's part of the clique. And would Bih hang out with bad people?!!!! For god's sake, some of them are more hardworking than me! Yah, and they treatened to cancel the party this saturday.

Yadda yadda, and of course, when they're pissed with me, they like to bring my hobby into the picture. It doesn't matter what it's about. Low attendance, or loosing my ez-link card, no matter what mistakes i make, they'll bring in my animes. And funnily, i don't even watch anime that much anymore. I watch ONCE A WEEK! Or i watch only a few episodes (less than 10) a week. Whatever. Those things don't even link! It's not like i skipped my lesson to watch anime -_- I could have watched anime in class if i wanted to! But i don't, damnit i actually listen in my classes this semester. But of course, what's the point of explaining? So even if they believe me on this point (highly doubt so), they would probably move on to how i've been talking on the phone a lot more recently. And you know what? That's precisely why i hate using the house phone. They can use it against me! ARGH!!! WHAT HAVE I DONE WRONG?

I hate this. The email/letter could be a big mistake! I received a warning letter for low attendance for Japanese102 before (and i attended ALL the lessons okay),and you know why? Because the teacher hasn't updated the attendance yet! It could be the exact same thing! I don't know man, but im speaking to my FMGT tutorial teacher tomorrow. If i can, I'm gonna get him to call my parents up and explain, cause my parents obviously do not trust me. SIGH.

Hopefully, i can survive till tomorrow to check with my teacher. I can go dig myself a hole right now, just in case. :X

I bumped into my ex-bus-crush today while waiting for 265 to go to Yio Chu Kang MRT LOL He's the AMK secondary guy whom i take the bus with every morning to school in sec2 and 3 lol I thought he was very cool and had a good figure so i had a bus-crush on him and looked forward to seeing him in the bus every morning HAHAHA And I've never spoken to him before LOL Only admired from afar(the bus) Lol

Okay la, i might have recognised the wrong person? I haven't seen him in almost 3years okay, and he wasn't in his AMK secondary school uniform today. He was in sports wear. But i thought he looked familiar hahaha I was just staring at the sky, waiting for my bus, and then i turned to look behind and there he was, behind the advertisement stand. And then suddenly he was infront of the advertisement stand. And then he came and sit beside me!!! LOL No we didn't talk HAHAHAHA I was kinda shocked la, that's all. When we got on the bus, i took the seat 2 rows behind him, and looked at his backview HAHAHAHA Like old times. Ohmy, how nostalgic =P

So anyway, met up with yongxin and zijia at Chinatown mrt lol i was 1hour late. I was supposed to reach at 1 but i reached at 2 instead. GOMENASAI~ So anyway, i had lunch at KFC and we chatted about their Henderson times LOL New names, new stories haha how interesting. And I'm gonna see the whole gang next Saturday too, can't wait. We got on with our mission which was accomplished in what, 10minutes? And went our separate ways LOL and i went home to sleep haha

It's funny how i thought the friendship bracelet i lost yesterday foreshadowed something in the future, like say.. a lost friendship haha And today, after hearing about his story, well i was kinda confused la. But ironically, i did tell him i would die in poly without them haha So i guess, a decision has been made even before i make it hahaha Perhaps it just wasn't meant to be. At least i found out early? hmm

And from here on, meixuan discarded the fake gold and went in search for the real treasure. :)

The Bazaar was... We managed to break-even i think, and earn a profit of... ONE DOLLAR!!! -_- And in the end, we had to stay till 5pm LOL I spent about 30bucks at the Bazaar i think, in which $5.80 went to Mantou's store. $3 went to having my hand-drawn. And the rest probably food, drinks and whatever crap i got from our own store LOL


This one... is a big joke! HAHAHAHHA written by Mantou LOL you can't tell but it's a lot better then when she first started at it LOL =P

So, Jeremy kept his promise and visited the bazaar, BUTTTTTT He didn't buy anything from our store. Instead, he got 3packs of mint-chocolate from another store and kept bugging me to take it for the rest of the day even though i refused repeatedly -_- to annoy me. He also gave me a badge that says "I am multi-talented I can talk and piss you off at the same time" LOL when he got it, i told him he at least had some self-awareness, then in the end he gave it to me HAHAHA And he gave me a friendship bracelet... which i lost... which im feeling horribly guilty about... damnit!

So after the bazaar, we took bus 136 back to AMK, and he made me go back home and get my laptop cause he needed to "study". I went home and get it and we went to the Macdonalds opposite AMK library and in the end you know what he did? He went to youtube and watched this guy play guitar to record the chords -_- while i had a little nap :) Dinner at the hawker (his treat, cause he promised =P) after that, and then we went our separate ways.

So, today was Yuankai's birthday.

CMA tutorial, and then we (me, weiqi, adrian, ian, ansar and birthday boy yuankai) went down to Holland V for lunch, Thai Express. I had Pineapple Fried Rice with Seafood. Like duh, that's the only thing i can eat there LOL the rest's probably too spicy for me. Yuankai got a birthday gift from Thai Express since he signed up for membership too lol It's a really big cup/bowl, i can't really tell hahahha I would post the picture but like i said, blogger's screwing with me.

Yuankai treated us to Cold Rock after lunch. It's a rock that's put in the freezer LOL Their joke! Okay la, it's ice-cream and it's really good =)

Bazaar at Kovan tomorrow, 9am-3pm. There goes my precious saturday sleep sessions. I should be asleep at 3pm!!! Expecting a very boring saturday, and expect a very pissed off meixuan. I'm not good at waking up early. :(

HRM lecture, FMGT tutorial, slacked around for an hour and a half and then Cheers meeting.

After that, me, jia, qian, xin and her boyfriend benson made our way down to Great World City in two separate taxis cause none of the taxis would take 5passengers even though they repeated again and again that there's a small sized one that can hide -_- Yes, that's me lol

Had dinner at this Japanese restaurant. My dinner consisted of a small bowl of japanese rice with salmon on it LOL The rice was alright, but the salmon... Not so good. It didn't look very fresh, and didn't taste very fresh either. And the salmon wasn't cold! Shouldn't it have been in the fridge before my meal was prepared? O_o

Anyway i wasn't full after i finished my meal so i bought a popcorn combo for our movie haha But instead of the regular combos that cost $6-7, i got the Wizard Combo that costed $12 cause the cup was cool! And the popcorn's in this pail thingy LOL I thought it was very cute ^^

Watched Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. I had fun snatching the jacket away from zijia during the movie hahahaha The movie was well... expected. I did not have high hopes for it, thus i wasn't greatly dissapointed. They cut off a lot of parts, and having read the book helps. But perhaps i should re-read again to refresh my memory. Other than that, i finished 90% of the popcorn LOL

Jia didn't bring the popcorn pail home cause she thought it was weird to carry it all the way back to LakeSide. I brought my very cool cup home though. Here's a picture!

Attended BFS's FMGT lecture with Bih, Jia and Qian this morning at 9am since we skipped ours yesterday. The lecturer's the one who tries to be funny but fails miserably at it. Well at least that's what I think. There are people who laugh at his jokes though. The lecture was mostly boring, but it was very slack with almost 20minutes of break inbetween in which i drifted in and out of sleep till the end =P

EBA meeting after that =( Shall not elaborate. Our meeting ended at 4+ with the conclusion that Ian shall do the whole database while i'll do the final written report LOL

Did my japanese homework and practiced for the conversational test, which was useless. I did miserably =( Only got 4/6 of the required sentences while i got the whole thing the previous semester =( Well we were concentrating on movies and restaurant, and UGH the topic that came out for us was "Shopping centres" We did prepare a little tinsy bit lah, but seriously! I freaked out and yah.

Waited with Bih for Mantou's lesson to end before i went home. Showed her an episode of Hannah Montana (xin downlaoded HM s1 and s2 into my hardrive =) If your reading this, omg i love you!!! and thanks! =D ) and while she was laughing cause it was funny she told mantou that it was stupid -_-

I was thinking about skipping HRM tutorial because i onli had 1 class today, and then home, but i went anyway. Bumped into Jeremy while waiting for Bih at ourspace and he invited me to do a 1hr survey for 1 cca point LOL

Went for the NDC briefing with Bih and now we have 100 NDC coupons to sell :( Bih was waiting for slave-driver before going for BA society and had 1hr to spare so she joined me for the survey with jeremy and his friend brandon and another friend whose name remains unknown.

LOL The survey was about "Relationship Violence" They estimated that it would take 30-45minutes to complete the survey, but i finished it in 8minutes 30seconds =) Even though it's 10pages long HAHAHHAHA

Had dinner with Jeremy at the market behind school. He ordered mutton soup and i had carrot cake and we ordered sugar cane juice and satay and desert (ice-kachang for me, as usual) LOL Throughout dinner he kept repeating, "You have Issues!" LOL or "Shut up and just eat, your so slow" LOL It was damn funny la. And we were talking about Nigel and their "gay" moment LOL It's making-fun material =P

And he owes me a tube of sweets and a meal. I'm blogging this down in case i forget hahahah

You know how sometimes when you argue with people online, and then you go offline and suddeny the best comeback for the argument comes to you? Yeah that's how i felt at the end of my CMA test. I was thinking bout how to solve that last question, and when the answer came to me, the teacher says "1 more minute" through the mike. ARGHHHHH 8 Marks leh! Bloody hell.

Other than that, i got stuck between the Cheer's doors today LOL Bih/ZJ opened the door and walked in, sweemun walked in, and i tried to slide in before the door closed and got stuck instead T_T I think i shrieked or made a funny noise O_o

After we left Cheers, i saw a double decker and screamed "MY BUS!" and ran towards the bus-stop. Halfway there, i realised it was 154 and not 74..

I turned and made my way back towards Bih&Gang, they gave me food and while i was busy chewing and puting food into my mouth, they made their escape LOL So i had to wait for the bus alone lo...

I walked towards the nearest bench and was about to sit when it collapse.. This was really a surprise la. It was so emparrassing! But when i was about to head for another bench, the bus came..

I got on, saw Jeremy and his friend brandon at the next stop, and i went to the back to join them. Before i even sat down, i realised my handphone pouch was missing LOL And jeremy with his injured foot was helping me search haha And it's black too, so it's not exactly easy lol But thank god we found it. I dropped it at the seat i was at before going to the back hahhaha

Back at our seats, i started looking for my wintermelon tea which was right beside me haha

It's no wonder Jeremy said i was clumsy.

But seriously, it's only today.

I'm usually not like this, i think.

1. We screwed up the HRM presentation LOL For starters, instead of the assigned title "Training - A viable way to help employers and workers manage the economic downturn", we put "Project on SPUR." Instead of discussing the effectiveness of retraining and skills upgrading as tools to combat the current employment climate, we discussed the effectiveness of retaining and skills upgrading... And lastly, we did not finish the presentation of the interviews with the companies because we were running out of time and the teacher complained about the lack of analysis of the interviews T_T Definitely getting a bad grade for the project. *Gulp*

2. Had an awkward moment with Jiaqi LOL Before he came, me and nard were walking towards the cinema while songen and xionglong? were standing near the escalators, so we walked back and i asked, "whatcha doing?" Songen said "Waiting for your crush," and i replied, loudly, "it's EX-crush" and at the same moment, i turned towards the escalator, saw him coming up, looked at him looking at us, blushed and looked away like i saw a ghost. He came up, slapped songen on the shoulder and headed towards the cinema with me and kennard threading behind while nard said to me, "eh, he never say hi to you leh" LOL

Something extra: The first movie we ever watched together was Transformers 1 where his friends(songen&gang) pangseh-ed him and he had to sit between me and lina at the other side. I offered him popcorn, and he said no thanks explaining months later that, he had a sorethroat on that day. Transformers 2 was supposed to be a closure for me. Like, Transformers 1 was the first time i noticed his existence, or interacted with him. And even though it wasn't the day i started liking him, it was the day i got to know his name LOL And that was the first of many movies in which i would love to sit beside him. I decided that after Transformers 2, i would get over him completely. No, i did not sit beside him in Transformers 2. Would i love to? I don't really know leh. I think that I've gotten over him, but there's still a small tinny whinny gray area i guess where I'm unsure of how to act, or if what I'm feeling is normal for someone who has recently gotten over her crush. And i guess i really need to get around to deleting those messages... which i sometimes overthink

It is my dad's birthday today. So when my parents said they were heading to Jurong Point, i thought we would be having something good for dinner but in the end, we ate at the new foodcourt -_- I had Pork yakisoba from Ajitsu Ramen (is that the name?/prolly never gonna eat that again, at least not from AR), while my mom had noodles and my dad had vegetable rice, the cheapest! Even though it was his birthday. We had xiao long pao too, $6.50 for 5 wth, more expensive than Ding Tai Feng i think O_O and this crispy thingy which was nice and ice kachang for me :)

Seeing that my shoes (the blue-ish one which i never asked my maid to wash cause it's so comfortable i wear it everyday LOL) were so dirty, my mum suggested i get myself new shoes since it's the Great Singapore Sale! So we went to Nike and it was Love At First Sight <3. BUT it wasn't on discount (the regular items are on 40%) because it just arrived the previous week. But i got it anyway after walking around JP looking for better and cheaper shoes even though deep down i know i've already decided for the one i've set my heart for haha And besides it's $69 only, which is still cheaper than a $129 shoe that my dad chose that is on 40% discount hahahha plus, $69 from Nike or $69 from BATA, of course NIKE LAH! And my dad even brought me to hushpuppies and chose, in my point of view, "auntie" shoes hahaha

So yeah, so much for GSS -_- AND THEN! While my dad was paying for my shoes, i saw this really cute sleeveless one-piece dress, about knee length for me, 3/4 baby pink and baby blue below. It was again, Love At First Sight <3 $79 and IT'S ALSO A NEW ARRIVAL! Bloody hell, means no discount! So all i could do was let it slip through my fingers. I'm totally crushed, devastated! And even now, the image of it is etched in my memory. It's calling out to me, "meixuan, you know you want me! Come back!" Okay now you prolly think i'm delusional lol but you know, i don't usually feel so strongly about clothes so...

Well here's my idea of a solution. I'll visit Nike again and try on that cute dress. And if it suits me, I'll prolly buy it but if it doesn't, well it's just not meant to be. You know how some clothes look really good when you look at it, but when you put it on, it looks horrible on you? Yah, i feel that if i at least tried it on and don't think it suits me, my heart will find it easier to let go or something hahahha So yah! It's kinda like, refusing to let go of your crush until your absoulutely sure that you have no chances of being together haha =)

As for the shoes, haha it's a really simple design, but i love it! Here's a picture!

I don't really exercise, so i got casual walking shoes instead of you know, running shoes or something haha CHIC RIGHT! LOL

When i was younger, i was ashamed of my chinese name cause i thought it was lame LOL But now that i'm older, i'm ashame of my english name cause i thought it was overly common and it portrays a typical girl-next-door image, which i'm anything but. I love my chinese name now hahaha it's unique and yah. meixuan. HAHA

So anyway, since Michelle is not a registered name on my IC/birth cert, it means that i can change it on my own LOL My dad has 2 english names okay! Richard and William. So why can't i change my english name too?

So, i got back the rest of my results LOL

Got 40/50 for HRM. Damn it! It should've been 42 lo, that stupid MCQ where i ticked wrongly cost me 2marks. And i lost to bihbih by 5marks. Lol okay lah kinda expected. She's kinda a HRM person LOL But it's still good enough la, i would have gotten an A1 for that grade if this were secondary school hahaha

As for CMA, lol you wouldn't believe it! I got 96/100!!! =D Big surprise right! Even I can get this kinda grade =P the last time i got more than 95 out of 100 for a test was probably chinese in primary5 or something hahaha

I think i did really well for all my tests this time. The last time i've done so well for all my subjects was O'levels hahaha Ever since i've entered poly, all my grades are round the B to B+ margin, and 1 bloody C+ i want to blanko away =( hahahaha So yah, I'm really satisfied with my grades this time round. Glad to know my hard work paid off =D

I'm gonna continue to work hard in hoping to get a few As this semester =D

Had subway for lunch with Sweemun at Makan Place in school before work.

Work at cheers was relatively boring, to say the least. The first thing we did was to write down the barcode of items with missing or faded price tags. And then we key it into the system to generate new price tags for these items, and then we put in the price tags. Next thing we did was stock receiving, where we key into the system all the items that came in today. And then there was quite an amount of slacking cause there was hardly anything to do. And then Yongxin came and we ended up talking to her outside the store while she did her japanese homework. Then the Team Leader called us in and we were asked to tear promotion tags and to slide it into the trasparent thing that hangs on the rack and some housekeeping, and then it's end of our first day of work. Bleh.

After work me and Sweemun headed to Clementi central for dinner. I didn't have any cash, so mantou ended up having Ramen with me at "Shinkudou Tokyo"(i think LOL) even though her mother had cooked so i could hit $20 on the bill so i could use nets LOL Mantou-さん、ありがとうね～

So anyway, we visited the arcade upstairs after dinner to um, digest our food LOL We played Daytona and Mantou beat me! WTH! I beat her in the first 7rounds, and then out of no where, she overtook me at the last minute! And there we saw this very pro guy playing Drum Maniac 4 LOL HE BLOODY GOOD LA! He got grade 'S' for almost all the songs he played, and 'S' is higher than A+ okay! And and, he played for almost 40minutes la and he didn't feel tired, while i feel my hands aching after like 2-3rounds, usually. Well we didn't get to play cause while he was still playing, some other guy came along and inserted credit for 2rounds and while the other guy was playing, Mr.Pro came back and insert god knows how many credit for his round after the guy's LOL So yah. We didn't get to play after the long wait.

While we were waiting, we played some random game at the machine we were sitting at. There was the spot the difference in photographs thingy, and finding the ingredients(in words) for cooking, and then there was mahjong LOL Well guess what, i suck at spotting differences AND finding words out of a long list of words. Tires my eyes out ugh. The only reason we got "that" far ahead was cause of sweemun LOL She's damn fast la wth. Must have honed her eyesight through "training" at the arcade. So after deciding that we wouldn't get to play Drum Maniac due to the long wait and cause we didn't want to embarrass ourselves in front of the pro, plus the stupid machine is conveniently placed right infront of the entrance to the arcade, for all to see!, we decided to go home LOL

Mantou took the mrt home while i crossed the overhead bridge to find that the bus to AMK isn't there. But remembering that it DOES come to clementi, i walked to the interchange instead and thank god, there it was. Bus166 took blooody long la! It took 1.5hours from Clementi interchange to Amk. So yah lo, i should have taken the MRT instead, even though it's highly inconvenient and i would have to switch trains and busses to get home. But i would have reached home between 10-10.30PM instead of 11PM. I know, it's just half an hour, but trust me, it makes a whole lot of difference when the aircon is freezing cold and you can't stretch your legs and feel totally uncomfortable. So yah. Next time, I'm taking the train.

Anyway, i added a horoscope widget in this blog LOL California Psychics is highly accurate. Okay la, give and take a little LOL But seriously, even Darren seconds that! ahahahah =) Read your fortune in the stars, people.

In the end we didn't use the powerpoint slides i/weiqi prepared. Maybe we should have. Ahwell, at least FMGT's project is offically over, and we survived the Q&A session.

I got the same score as bihshean for FMGT common test lol 42.5/50 hahaha Damn, i would love to beat her, even once. But then again, tis' good enough a score for me =) Perhaps one day, i will. There's still hope for CMA, but HRM i highly doubt it. How the hell am i gonna beat a 45/50?!!! Blah.

Had japanese dinner with my parents at Hoshi at IMM.　おいしいです。日本レストラントで星が一番好きです。(Translate: It's delicious. Hoshi is my favourite among japanese restaurants) And, they serve the freshest sashimi among all the japanese restaurants i've been to. =)

Tomorrow i start work at Cheers with mantou.
