Gakuen Alice

No matter how you looked at it, Gakuen Alice looked like a kid's anime/manga lol which was why i didn't watch it earlier. But i was bored and the anime was rated well on anime season so i decided to give it a try hahaha well at least it's not one of those transformation anime where the characters take like 30seconds of show time transforming into super human beings like shugo chara or cardcaptor or mermaid melody LOL even though their transformation dialogues are hilarious :) "watashi no kokoro, unlocku!" (my heart, unlock!), "negative hearto, lock on! open hearto!" LOL that's from shugo chara or or "PICHI PICHI VOICE!" LOL
Well, Gakuen Alice was actually quite enjoyable. It's about kids with special abilities(x-ray vision, super memory, time-traveling, mid-reading etc.) known as Alice attending the school Gakuen Alice and about their school days la hahaha the relationship between two of the main characters, mikan and hotaru (they are best friends) remind me of my relationship with bihshean lol i play the clumsy a little bit retarded character and she plays the VIOLENT cum rational character, and the fact that she denies being my (poly)best friend hahaha Or maybe not.
And like Ouran High School Host Club and Special A, it's one of those animes where people pray for a second season but usually don't get one despite the online petitions. Which i find is a waste for Gakuen Alice, because they have a good plot in the manga that they can explore into, not like i have read it, but you know, wikipedia :)
What i don't like about Gakuen Alice(anime) though, is that there wasn't much focus on the romance aspect of the characters! They totally left out the part where Mikan and Natsume got stuck together by sticky balls and Natsume had to hold her hand, the effect wore off after 2hours but Natsume kept on holding her hand saying that bad things will happen if she moved her hand. They slept together that night(purely, nothing happened, they are 12!) and Natsume hugged her and said "I'll return you to Ruka tomorrow" (from the manga, chapter 54, i read this and a few other parts :P) and the part where there was a black out and she was with Natsume and Ruka, and the both of them held her hand the same time during the black out and told each other that they have bad taste in woman LOL or the part where Natsume said "your hands... i don't want to give them to anybody else..." but that happened in the future lah so it's not like it'll happen in the first series :( SEEE! They totally left out the love triangle between Mikan and Natsume and Ruka (BEST FRIENDS) LOL BIHSHEAN!!! your favourite wor =P hehe
If i had a choice on what alice (special abilities) i could have, i would choose the one where you could inject a soul into stuff toys hahaha This was kaname's ability, and it was at the expense of his life, but he continued doing so because he wanted the people around him to be happy, and he was a hopeless romantic and a lonely person because his parents was always away. sigh. Yes, I'm an only child, I'm single, I'm lonely can?!!! LOL It was really touching lo, the first living stuff toy he created would send him flowers everyday when he was back at school (he was hospitalised) i almost cried :'(
Speaking of crying, i was on the bus today and i saw this st.nick's girl crying, and her boyfriend was doing this rubbing elbow-hand on back-hand on shoulder-rubbing shoulder-kiss on the cheek-wisper at the ear-kiss on the cheek routine. I WASN'T SPYING, but their actions were kinda glaring yah HAHA and the sun was shining brightttttt. I guess when your single, and you see PDA like this, you start wondering how nice it would be if you had someone to rely on when you cried. But then again, i've never really seen the whole cry-and-then-jump-into-the-guy's-arms routine lol i would love to, even though i don't think the effect would be as romantic in real life as compared to anime/drama with the whole slow-down effect, repetitions on different(optional) angles, close up on the eye contact, and the bright glistering tears LOL
And besides, most of the time i cry alone so... when i was young, i used to cry a lot when i got punished by my mom or when i got lost at shopping centres.. now that i'm older, i cry over crushes and broken friendships (HARDLY LA, but happened before) and animes/dramas LOL even though it's more of 1tear drop accidentally slip down my cheek for the anime/drama part hahaha i almost cried while watching 07 Ghost too! LOL the part where Teito's best friend Mikoto died and reincarnated into this cute pink fluffy thing to be able to be with/protect his best friend in his next life. I still think 07 Ghost is kinda BL (boy's love). I don't see any of my male friends saying "I love you" to each other =X hahahaha
Ohyah, i was thinking if i should create an anime blog, to you know, record my feelings after every anime i watch, but seeing as how i go off-rail i think i better stick to this one haha after all, i could still blog about anything i want, except the posts on anime would be quite scattered huh lol
Okay, i shall now cry over the lost of my ez-link card.
