Other than my parent's sudden outburst this morning while i was sleeping (they thought i asked my maid to wake me at 8.30am when my lessons start at 9. They were wrong, lessons start at 10 today -_-), i would say today went relatively well.

For starters, Robinsons and Kato Spring replied our interview questions, THANK GOD! From yesterday's email, Robinsons said that the earliest they could reply was thursday, but what use was that, when our project was due today, 5pm! But after Ansar made a call to Kato Spring and emailed Robinsons this morning- asking them to reply by today, even if the answers were brief,- they replied within the hour. And we got our proposal done successfully, complete with APA citation (thanks to adrian). And so we are done with HRM project, except the powerpoint slides which are due next wednesday and presentation on next friday. And to pray that our proposal does not hit 30% plagarism LOL Or we'll be done for =S

And then there's my EBA grades. I got 73/80 =DDDDDDDDD That would be enough to shut my parents up about "not studying",i hope. Well there's still FMGT, CMA and HRM, but i don't think i'll do badly since i did study, and did my tutorials. Unless the whole the-harder-i-study-the-worse-i-do thing happens. Well if it happens, i better kill myself, or risk being killed by my parents since they won't be convinced with my theory, and we'll go back to how im useless and don't have a future.

Yup, tomorrow's FMGT presentation, and going through our papers. Which means, i don't need to do tomorrow's tutorial! HEHEHEHEHE =D I'm looking forward to it! Wait for my good news people!

And I've passed Yongxin my external hardrive, and she's gonna load lotsa and lotsa anime/drama into it =) to satisfy my addiction lol

And and, i've finished reading "Ransom My Heart". Tis' was a good read. "When he wasn't maddening her with desire, he was infuriating her with his words. She feared his touch because she longed for it, and she knew that she wouldn't be able to resist him again if he kissed her..."

Zijia's coming back from China today. YAY! I missed bullying her!!! LOL

Thus to welcome her back to Sunny Singapore, I've written her a fic! (I actually wrote this on monday, after the sweemun fic, but kept it till now heheh)

It's not as funny as the previous one, but it'll do its job. That is, she will probably give me a "wth wth wth" after reading this. Scratch that, she'll give me a "wth wth wth" after reading the title! HOHOHOHO

Title: Zijia and the Gays LOL

Summary: Zijia goes to Japan to meet her favourite idol(s).

Upon hearing that Adam Lambert is holding his first concert in Japan, Zijia immediately booked herself a ticket to the “Land of the Rising Sun.”

She arrived the day before the concert, only to realize to her horror, that in all that excitement, she has forgotten to buy the ticket for the concert! She immediately dialed the ticket hotline only to be disappointed by the woman on the other line who informed her that “due to overwhelming responses, all tickets to his concert have been sold out.”

She was disappointed but picked herself up and decided to make full use of this trip since her flight back to Singapore was not due until 4days later.

“I’m gonna shop till I drop!” exclaimed Zijia to herself.

While she was out shopping and visiting famous landmarks, she walked passed a Japanese junior high school.

“Seishun Gakuen… now where have I heard of that before?” thought Zijia to herself.

“Oh yah! That’s the school where Tezuka Kunimitsu, the incredibly famous and talented tennis player studies at!” Zijia realizes excitedly.

While Zijia doesn’t play tennis, she is a crazy fan of Tezuka Kunimitsu, and she idolizes him as much as Adam Lambert. With that, she secretly sneaks into the school and made her way towards the tennis courts.

There, she found herself staring admiringly at the rest of the team members of whom she has heard so much of over Sports Channel. She saw Ryoma owned Horio with his “Twist serve” and Kikumaru performing “acrobatic play”. “But where is Tezuka?” she asked herself and heads on to look for her top favorite sports idol.

She found Tezuka playing a match against Fuji at the court at the furthest corner. There it was! Tezuka just won the match with his zero-shiki drop shot. And in the next match, she watches in awe as Tezuka defeats all of Fuji’s triple counters with the “Tezuka-zone.” As she watches, her idolization for Tezuka just went up several notches.

When the match ends with Tezuka defeating Fuji at 7-6, Zijia couldn’t hold it in anymore. “TEZUKA!!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!” She shouts at the top of her lungs. Tezuka and the rest of his team members turned and looked in her direction, confused as to where this crazy girl came from.

“Oops” remembering that she sneaked into the school, she panicked and escaped the scene.


Back in her hotel room, Zijia replayed Tezuka and Fuji’s match in her usually empty brain. “He is simply the best!” Thought Zijia, and suddenly, she realized that she’s in love with the guy.

With that sudden realization, she made up her mind to visit the school again the next day and to confess her love to him. She went to sleep that night with fantasies of herself with Tezuka, hand in hand, getting married at one of the shrines ^^

The next day, she woke up and prepared herself. She tied her hair in her signature “curry puff” bun and tied a ribbon at her mole. She put on her favorite cosplay dress, a maid outfit complete with apron and her favorite red tights. She put on enough make up to make her face resemble a baboon’s backside and deep red lipstick that she thinks gives her kissable lips. After she is pleased with herself, she left to have lunch at the hotel lobby.

After she was done with her lunch, Zijia glanced at her watch which says 1pm. She was very excited, but thought it was too early to visit the school as Tezuka’s probably still having lessons. She decided to continue with her unfinished shopping before going to the school.

“I must look very pretty today…” Thought Zijia to herself when she mistaken the weird looks people were giving her as admiration “People have been staring at me since lunch… hehe”

3 hours later, she made her way to Seishun Gakuen. Her heart was thumping non-stop and she would have sneaked in like the previous day but there stood a fierce-looking guard that wasn’t there before. Furthermore, he looked like he would bite her head off if she took one more step towards the school. And besides, her shopping bags were obstructing her moments.

Since there was nothing she could do about it, Zijia waited outside the school, hoping Tezuka, the love of her life as she has now convinced herself, wouldn’t take long. Because she was in her 6-inch high heels and it was killing her. Fortunately for her, Tezuka emerged from the school in less than an hour.

Zj: TEZUKA! TEZUKA! HOLD ON!
Tezuka: You’re that crazy girl from yesterday. Who are you?
Zj: I’m Zijia. You may not know me now, but I’m gonna be your future girlfriend, and wife.
Tezuka: I see, and I highly doubt it.
Zj: Why not? You may not believe it, but you’re the love of my life! See? Fate has brought us together.
Tezuka: You were waiting outside my school. We would have met whether I liked it or not.
Zj: Which is fate! I really love you, Tezuka…
Tezuka: I appreciate your affections. But we can’t be together…
Zj: Why not…?
Tezuka: Because I have… someone… else.
Zj: I don’t believe this!
Tezuka: You have to whether you liked it or not. In fact, I’m going to meet my someone else now.
Zj: No way…
Tezuka: I’m sorry… But don’t let your guard down, I’m sure you’ll meet the right one…

And with that, Tezuka walked off, leaving Zijia sobbing, with her feet throbbing in pain.



Zijia was terribly heartbroken. She did not want to return to her hotel room as that would make her even lonelier. She wanted to drown her sorrows with alcohol. Having made up her mind, she went to a local pub called “Singles” as she thought the name was appropriate, given the situation she’s currently in.

The pub was very crowded, and stuffy, and not to mention noisy. Thus, she took her drink to the outside for some nice Japanese night air. She saw an empty seat and walked towards it. However, there was someone beside it.

“Is this seat taken? If not, do you mind if I sit beside you?” Slurred Zijia in her near-drunken state.

“No, have a seat,” replied the stranger. And when he looked up, Zijia had the shock of her life!

He may be in disguise, but Zijia would recognize him anywhere. After all, she came to Japan for him.

“ADAM LAMBERT? IS THAT YOU? SERIOUSLY? OHMYGOD OHMYGOD OHMYGOD” Exclaimed Zijia in shock.

“Shhhhhhhh... Not so loud! The people will hear you!” Adam hushed at Zijia.

Zj: *Feeling lucky/better already*But… why are you here? What about your concert? Isn’t it tonight?
Adam: Yes it is. But there was a little accident, and my concert’s been delayed till tomorrow.
Zj: I see. I’m so sorry about it. I mean, you’ve worked so hard for it and everything…
Adam: Don’t worry about it, it’s not like it’s cancelled.
Zj: Yeah I guess…
Adam: You looked troubled. Mind to share?

And so Zijia told him the full story, about how she came to Japan only to realize that she did not get the tickets to his concert and how she met and lost the love of her life.

Adam: *Sympathizes* Poor thing. I hope you feel better soon.
Zj: Thanks…
Adam: Look, there’s nothing I can do about your love life. But here, *takes something out of his pocket*this is an extra ticket to my concert, VIP seating complete with backstage passes. It was for my mother but she couldn’t make it so I hope you’ll have them.
Zj: Really? *eyes staring widely*
Adam: Yes, you had a bad experience already. I wouldn’t want you to make a wasted trip. *winks*
Zj: Ohmygod! Thank you very much! You’re totally my favorite idol. *All smiley now*
Adam: No problem. I hope you enjoy the concert ^^
Zj: I definitely will! Really, thank you! You just made my night a million times better!
Adam: haha I’m glad I did. *Looks behind, eyes suddenly shining* Oh look! The person I was waiting for is here, so I got to go.
Zj: I see. Have a beautiful night! And thanks again for the tickets! I really appreciate it…
Adam: You too. And cya tomorrow!



Adam stood up and left the table. Zijia’s eyes followed him from behind. She saw him walk towards someone waiting near the main streets. It was a man. “I shouldn’t be surprised. I mean, he did announce that he’s gay officially…” Zijia told herself.

She saw Adam give the guy a hug and a kiss on the cheek, and then he put his arm around the other guy. It was dark, and Zijia couldn’t see the guy’s face.

But suddenly, the street lights came on and Zijia got a glimpse of the guy Adam was holding on to, and she wished she didn’t.

It was Tezuka Kunimitsu.

And suddenly, she didn’t feel like going to Adam Lambert’s concert anymore.

The end.

I just had this horrible, horrible nightmare! I dreamt that i was on the way home, and i knocked the side of my face against the glass of the bus i was in when it was turning and then the impact was so forceful that i broke 2 of my teeth and 1 was barely hanging. And then the image of the old woman from "Drag Me To Hell" came up, okay just her mouth but that's even worst. Ughhhhhh i know i don't have the most beautiful set of teeth but god, that image was disturbing.

I think it's a warning from the tooth fairy lol Okay fine! I'll take even better care of my teeth from now on, but i'm still not getting braces! And you have no idea how relieved i was when i looked myself in the mirror. All my teeth are still intact, even the the gap between my front teeth. Not that it's very good news but you know, in my dream, my front teeth was gone so yah.

Phew.

I knocked the side of my face against the glass, but why is my front teeth gone instead of the side teeth? Maybe dreams defy the laws of physics, that's why people can fly in their dreams LOL

Sypnosis: meixuan and sweemun visits Hogwarts and sweemun gets turned into a duck.

“And the winner to this week’s contest is… Lee Mei Xuan! Your award is an
exclusive visit to Hogwart’s School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry and you get to
bring a friend along with you!”

I won? Seriously? Thought meixuan when she heard the announcement over the radio. And I get to bring a friend too… hmmm I’ll bring sweemun then, since she’s obsessed with Harry Potter lol

And this is why the two girls found themselves at the gate of Hogwarts on a beautiful Friday morning.

Sm: *lifts ducky keychain to mx’s ear and have it quack* I’m so excited!
Mx: I know I know. *rolls eyes*

As they took the grand tour around the academy with their tour guide who is none other than Harry Potter himself, many pairs of eyes turned to stare at them.

While in the bathroom of the Gryffindor common room…
Mx: You shouldn’t have wore the pink socks
Sm: But I wanted to impress Harry!
Mx: Your cheating on Loki?
Sm: No… I’m just exploring other options. And besides, the robes would look much better if they had my pink socks.
Mx: Whatever.
Sm: You’re just jealous. *lifts ducky again at mx’s ear and have it quack*
Mx: You have got to stop doing that! And there’s nothing to be jealous about, Harry looks like a gargoyle -_-

The pair gets to have a classroom experience as part of their tour, and the class they’re going to be sitting in would be Snape’s Potions Class.

Draco: Now now, what do we have here, Potter?
Harry: I do not need to explain myself to you, Malfoy.
Draco: Who do you think I am? Of course I know who they are.. they are visitors to Hogwarts and you have been assigned their tour guide.
Harry: Yes, so shut up and go away with your stupid minions.
Draco: I was just wondering what would happen if something accidentally happens to our precious guests.
Harry: Leave them alone, Malfoy. This has nothing to do with you.
Draco: Oh really? *raises eyebrows* I have nothing against them, really. But I would love to see Dumbledore’s love child get into trouble.
Harry: I would love to see you try.
Draco: Dare me.

However, their little confrontation was interrupted by Snape’s bellowing voice as he entered the class.

Snape: SILENCE! And get back to your seats. *Looks over at meixuan and sweemun* So we have guests. I understand that the two of you would be seating in, but I would appreciate it if you do not disrupt my class, or I cannot guarantee your safety.
Meixuan/Sweemun: *gulps in silence*
Snape: Now turn to page 298 of your Potion’s textbook. What we’ll be touching on today is….

They survived the Potions Class and sighed in relieve when the class ended as they followed Harry out of the dungeon.

Mx: Now that was scary.
Sm: Yeah. *lifts ducky keychain to mx’s ear and have it quack*
Mx: Ugh…
Draco: So one of our guests is fond of ducks, huh?
Harry: I said leave them alone, Malfoy.
Draco: Make me.

Harry started raising his wand but he was 2seconds too late as Malfoy pointed his at Sweemun and chants a magic spell that turned Sweemun into an identical duck that looked like the keychain sweemun has used to annoy meixuan all day with.

Mx: *freaks out and mutters omgomgomgomgomgomg…*
Harry: What did you do to her?!
Draco: Are you blind? I turned her into a duck.
Harry: You are so not getting out of this, Malfoy. *Lifts wand, and was about to chant a spell when Snape walks out of the dungeon*

“Now what do we have here,” Snarled Snape as he walked into the scene. “Harry potter. You again. Have you not created enough trouble this past year? And now here you are, raising your wand against my students outside my dungeon. 50points from Gryffindor”

Harry: But.. Draco turned one of our visitors into a duck!
Snape: Now did he? *Turns to Draco* did you turn one of our visitors into a duck?
Draco: Nope.
Snape: There you go. And another 50points from Gryffindor for lying.
Harry: ……
Snape: Now that we have got this cleared, I have important things to attend to. Now don’t you have another class to run along to, Malfoy?
Draco: Yes professor. *smirks and heads on to his next class*
Snape: And stay out of trouble, Potter.
Harry: *death stare after his professor*

Mx: Harry potter! My friend’s been turned into a duck! What should we do?!
Harry: There’s nothing we can do, meixuan. However, the spell will wear off in two hours so we’ll just have to wait.
Mx: *Phew* Oh thank god.

To avoid further trouble, Harry and meixuan (and little ducky sweemun) decided to spend the rest of the visit in the Gryffindor common room.

While Harry went to get something from his room, meixuan tries to communicate with Sweemun the rubber ducky.

Mx: *Holds sweemun in her palm* Hey sweemun! Can you hear me?
Sm: *Quack!*
Mx: OHMYGOD!!! *Laughs*
Sm: *Quack QuackQuack*
Mx: Maybe this is retribution for annoying people with your stupid duck. *Laughs some more*
Sm: *Quack Quack Quack Quack Quack Quack*
Mx: Oh look! You have pink instead of yellow duck feet! Must be your pink socks huh. This is hilarious.
Sm: *Quack Quack QuackQuack*
Mx: You know seriously. You’re a toy duck now. And even though you can quack, you do not have any expression whatsoever, so I really don’t know what you’re thinking or talking or quacking cause I don’t speak duck language.
Sm: *Quack*
Mx: *Picks up sweemun’s original toy duck keychain* Hey Mr. Ducky. Let me introduce you to a new friend ^^ *puts sweemun the duck in front of toy duck* this is Sweemun the duck! And she’ll be your girlfriend for the next two hours! ^^
Sm: *Quack Quack Quack* (Probably vulgarities lol)
Mx: You know, since we have two hours, you might as well enjoy this. *Queezes toy duck to produce a Quack* I would love to be your boyfriend, quacks toy duck! AHAHHAHAHAHAHA
Sm: *Quack and attempts to roll eyes but couldn’t because she’s a toy duck now*
Mx: Ah! Now is the perfect time for duck jokes! Now sweemun, what time does a duck wake up?
Sm: *Quack Quack Quack Quack Quack Quack*
Mx: At the Quack of dawn! HAHAHAHAHHA
Sm: *Quack Quack Quack*
Mx: You know, it’s not much fun when all you can do is quack.
Sm: *QuackQuackQuack*

It was entertaining making fun of sweemun but meixuan soon grew out of it because it doesn’t matter what she says or does with the ducks, all she’s going to hear are quacks O_o

So two hours passed in a blink of an eye and Sweemun transformed back into her original human form, complete with pink socks.

Mx: So how’s the duck tour?
Sm: *Quack Quack QuackQuack*
Mx: Why are you still quacking? You’re already in your human form.
Sm: *shows expression that she doesn’t know why either*

So they both turned to Harry for an explanation.

“Oh I forgot to mention that the spell has side effects. She’ll probably continue quacking for the next three days”

Sweemun was shocked beyond quacks and meixuan couldn’t stop laughing.

And so this concludes their quacking experience at Hogwarts of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Was in school for a few hours for Cheer's project. Hardly got anything done :S Needed pictures of Cheers at Stamford Road (near SMU) so we left at 12 and took bus 77 because the board said it would stop opposite SMU. Missed the stop, crossed the road and took the bus back the opposite direction. The bus uncle said the school was very obvious and there will be a board showing it. So we waited and we waited. We saw NUS, and the uncle told us to alight -_- We clearly said SMU, TWICE! But the uncle still heard it as NUS. As for the board, it was wrong, the bus stopped opposite NUS, not SMU O_o confusing much? In the end, we gave up the trip and went to plaza singapura to meet Yongxin and Sweemun.

Watched "Drag Me To Hell" LOL I was laughing a lot and bihshean thinks im sadistic. It's not like im not afraid or anything, i just tend to laugh off my fears haha The old woman was creepy and gross and did i mention creepy? The demon was comical though, he was dancing like the Genie in Aladin when he possessed the guy. But it's not all that scary la just disturbing lol It's been awhile since i last watched a horror movie, since the guys i usually watch movies with are like "watch horror i go home hor" Cowards. So yeah, im trying to remove the mental image of the old woman since i sleep alone and everything. No, i'm not afraid.

Walked around, had dinner at this Hongkong cafe, spent a lot of time listening to them talk about their Henderson times, and their old boyfriends and crushes and whatnot. Walked around some more lol Bought a book called "Ransom My Heart" by Megcabot from Times since it was on 20% and walked around some more. Yongxin got herself a new pair of slippers, we spent 20minutes outside PS just sitting and chatting and resting before going our separate ways at 9pm. Cosplay costumes at Otaku world are at 30%!!! I was wondering if i should get the Prince Of Tennis tshirt/jacket. I may or may not wear it LOL You've seen how it looks like, just scroll down. Comment.

AND QUAH SOO MEI! THERE IS A BLOODY FOODCOURT AT PS! I WAS RIGHT! IT WAS AT THE SECOND LAST LEVEL! BESIDE THE HONGKONG CAFE! But i guess we missed it since we were at the Other side of the level and since you're convinced there wasn't a foodcourt or if there was, it would be at the ground level -_- Well just so you know.

Still hooked with the fanblogs. Ryoma-sama's are the most interesting so far, and he has the most post. He makes me want to write about something, not just blogging hmmm I'm having a writer's block. Any ideas?

Actually, just 7hours lol

So yesterday, i met up with spermy at AMK mrt at 3pm. First destination was kinokuniya cause i needed to collect my cheque. Christy was in a bad mood lol and i got told off cause i forgot to go through security and went into the office from the store instead haha ahwell it's my last cheque so it's not like i'll have to walk through the staff doors again yay! :P Surprisingly, i did not get any books this time round. Cause nothing interesting caught my eye and i would have stayed longer and browsed at some of the comics but qsm is impatient with books and thinks comics/anime is useless >< so yah. LOL

We went to Cineleisure after that hahaha it was a totally useless trip cause all we did was walk one round around the second level and bought a 100g of no nut chocolate chips from Famous Amos. Well other than that, it was a useless trip haha. I went there planning to take a neoprint with qsm cause you know, we are best friends but after all these years, no neoprint and cause i think neoprint makes me look slightly better lol :P but again, qsm hates neoprints. And movies. And everything else i enjoy except maybe hk drama. (Note: I'm not a neoprint manic, but i would love to have one with people i love)

After cineleisure, we took bus700 to plaza singapura cause i wanted to visit the arcade and Otaku world! We had a drink and snack at kfc and then we spent a good amount of money at the arcade. hmm prolly about $13 LOL and people. QSM Spermy may be top in school and good in music, and dance, and even better than me at sports, BUT she has a weakness! And i found out yesterday, her weakness is the ARCADE! HAHAHAHHAA She couldn't even play daytona LOL or the 3drums thingy ^^ well at least this proves she's still human, even though she's lacking a heart, or if she has one, it's frozen at negative godknowshowmany degrees =P

After a very torturous trip at the arcade (for qsm, not me cause i actually enjoyed it haha) we headed to Otaku world LOL Okay la, nothing new, and i couldn't find the white coloured handpuppet of bel so i didn't get anything. And then we went around PS in search of a cup cover cause i want the ants at home to stop making my water cups their graveyards. Once they die in them, i can't drink my water even though qsm says her mother says that you won't die from drinking ants, further proving my theory that qsm is evil and cold hearted even though she doesn't look like it. So, i got this kawaii (cute) "moo-moo on a grass patch" cupcover and im very happy with it! Even though it's slightly expensive =( But it's working well so no complains. I no longer have to double check my cup before drinking YAY!

Other than that, i got a pen with my dad's name on it for father's day. We went around PS in search of the missing foodcourt(there SHOULD be one, beside my favourite puzzle shop but it's missing! Why is it missing?!) but finally gave up and decided to settle for AMK Hub's foodcourt (okay actually my idea, cause i wanted ice-kachang lol). So we took the mrt back to marina bay and then back to amk cause i/we didn't want to stand. Soomei skipped dinner even though she's stick thin claiming that she's not that hungry. Now where have i heard that before? Sounds like something i've been through with bihbih numerous times hehe So i got my food, i got my ice-kachang even though i only finished the ice and not the kachang cause qsm the-evil looked extremely bored and i felt guilty about it so after that we took the bus home cause i rejected qsm's crazy evil plan of walking back O_O I bet she wants to see me fall down LOL

Yup, and that concludes the day with QSM. The only day i've spent with her actually. We usually just meet up, eat, go home. So this is a first. hmmmmmm lol

A piece of advise, guys(and girls). When you grow up and become a parent, never tell your kid to "go and die" no matter how angry you are. Because you never know what goes through their mind when you say it.

When my mum hit me and told me to "go and die" today, i half thought of dying to make her regret what she said :X and she said it while i was standing beside a bunch of kitchen knifes too! It could have turned out really dramatic if i didn't have enough self-control lol

No, im not suicidal, and i don't plan to die for a ezlink card. Or whatever. There's too many animes i haven't watch, too many places i haven't visited, too many adventures i haven't gone on, and i haven't found the love of my life, my soul mate, my other half however way you wanna put it. So i'm not ready to die just yet. It was just one of those fleeting moments where i felt like dying.

So, i watched from this anime 'hanasakeru seishounen' that everything we say say carry spirits, so bad things we say carry bad spirits, and that what we say cannot be taken back. So yah. I know i know, what we say don't really carry spirits i guess, but you get my drift

I mean, if you say stuff as a joke it's fine but if you say it when your actually angry and shouting at the person, it takes up a whole new meaning, you know? And who knows, they might take it seriously. And you don't know what will happen, and you wouldn't want to regret it right? So yah.

So, i called Translink about my old ez-link card. Turns out, i do not need to get back my old card physically. Their department will investigate into the matter and i'll get a claim instead LOL in 5working days which is 25th June.

So, i rarely say this but i think they have good customer service :) I like the girl who picked up my call, she was very nice and polite and friendly LOL oh and i like the music during the "hold" too lol it's not like mine -_- some boring classical music haha

I told my mom about me loosing my card cause i was lazy and wanted her to activate the new one for me. Lesson learnt. Next time this kinda thing happens, im keeping quiet.

My mom's still reprimanding me for the loss of my ezlink card. Got the new one activated, but she still wants me to call translink to try and get back the old card so i could transfer the less than $1 and bus concession of a few days into the new one. I guess.

Finished Aishiteruze Baby (I love you, baby). No concrete ending. Hated the opening and ending songs, they sound like something sang at an opera.

Was watching Prince Of Tennis but now am stuck at episode 170 cause the player's not working. Darn. Could have finished the series, minus the OVAs and movies :S

Anyway i was google-ling Echizen Ryoga (Echizen Ryoma's supposed brother lol, and they are characters from POT, except Ryoga he never appeared in the series just in the movie i think) and guess what i found? Their fanblogs LOL It was HELL entertaining. Gosh, i'm hooked! Maybe i should search for fanblogs of the other animes i watch =p

I didn't expect to blog a second time today but guess what? Remember in my previous post when i said i was kidding about crying over my ezlink card? lol as fate have it, i did cry over it -_-

So my parents came home, and i approached my mum and told her i lost my old ezlink card and told her to activate my new one (i had 2, the old one and the new unactivated one i planned to activate only in september but i have no choice now huh)and WOW, she unleashed like, 18years of anger on me. It started from my irresponsibility, to my laziness and how im always watching "stupid" anime, how i never studied and went all the way to how im useless and worthless and concluding in how im gonna end up a failure in life. Just because i lost my ezlink card.

What's the big deal? Seriously! It's not like i have to pay a fine to make a new one, i already have a new one at home! And it was a matter of time before i had to hand in the old one and activate the new one, just that it happened sooner then i hoped. And she never bothered about when i was gonna activate the new card anyway, and she doesn't have to pay for it, so WHAT'S THE BIG DEAL? there was less than $1 inside the card la and i kena lashed for that.

And about irresponsibility. I didn't bloody plan to loose my card. Heck, i don't even know how i lost it. I think i dropped it in the bus when i thought i slipped it into my pocket. Or i dropped it on the street when i took out my handphone from my pocket and it accidentally came out with it. Gosh, i don't know, but i didn't plan to loose my card! Sure, blame me for carelessness, but this is not irresponsibility. And besides, this kinda thing happens to the best of us! Bihshean lost her ezlink card too earlier this year. Carren lost her wallet and keys on a bus before. All of us loose stuff like that once in awhile. It's just one of those things that happen, blame it on murphy's law or something. I really want to shout out those facts to her but i'll probably be welcomed with a slap on my face if i did, so bobian, bite tongue sit quietly and listen to her abuse me emotionally lo.

About my laziness and how im watching "stupid" anime and always couped up in my room... com'on, it's the HOLIDAYS! If i don't do this now, then wait until when? When school reopens? I do this every single holiday, but every single holiday, she scolds me for the same thing. If i go out everyday, she says im playing around, wasting money blah blah blah. If i stay home, she says im lazy. If i work, she says the whole family have to sacrifice for me cause sometimes my dad have to fetch me if i worked late. If i don't work, lazy again. Seems like i will kena her scoldings no matter what i do what, so might as well do something i enjoy right! And i did go out! I went out for my PROJECT meeting today and im meeting soomei on friday. She should be laughing that im not hanging out with some gang sniffing glue or doing drugs, all im doing is lazing in my bed and infront of the computer, how bad is that?

How i never studied... THIS, really felt like a slap on my face. To think i even put in the effort to complete all my bloody tutorials for this semester up till now. If i stop doing them, you know why. SERIOUSLY! She thinks that i never study because she never saw me studying. Well guess what, i usually start my studying late into the night, earliest 10pm which sometimes stretch till 2am. She's either watching tv or sleeping during this period of time, so of course she never saw me studying. And i even told her that before. She knows i stay up all night to cram for my exams the night before, so HOW DARE SHE SAYS I NEVER STUDY. And it's not like im getting a failing grade. All she cared about were my grades anyway, so why try and cram my study style and accuse me of not studying when im still producing reasonable grades despite "not studying". UGH

Oh she also got pissed at me for not knowing what to do for the future. This kinda thing, cannot rush one what. It's not like if i tell myself "think meixuan think, think of something you can and want to do in the future" then something will miraculously come out. I believe that this is something you have to explore slowly, and when it comes, it comes. It's earlier for some, later for some. Later for me, obviously -_-

Why are parents only satisfied when their kids have ambitions like to be a successful lawyer, doctor, polititon or entrepreneur. Why can't they accept who they wanna be? I seriously don't think i'm the ambitious type. There are people who want to do big things, help people, and there are people who just want to live life happily. I'm one of them. Life is short, unpredicatable and you only live it once, so why not make it a happy one? I might die tomorrow due to a car crash, we'll never know. So why not live the way i like so just in case i die the next day, i would die with no regrets, and it's not like im neglecting my daily duties like attending school and what not. And as for my future career, i don't want to do something that will make me rich or famous, i want to do something that i enjoy and make me happy. I was thinking about setting up a cosplay cafe, so it's not like i totally have no idea yah?

I smsed this to soomei while i was still pissed LOL "... Why do singaporean parents have this conformed idea on what an ideal child is? Why can't they accept them for who they are but no... they have to compare and make you change. But guess what?It's never enough. You overcome this, they find something else. Studies, work, marriage and how much you have in your CPF. They think their kids are machines they can customize! God if they want the perfect kid they should have a cyber kid or something..." (yes it's a very long sms like 8pages or something) OR OR they can like freeze the sperms and eggs of those accomplished people and create like the most genius kid ever! I love my cousins and my best friends but i kinda hate it when my parents start comparing me to them. When i was younger it was always "bryan this bryan that" now that im older, they compare me to my friends "why can't you be more like bihshean/soomei?" blah blah blah If you want me to be like them so much, adopt them then! WTH I'm MEIXUAN. Not bryan/felicia/soomei/bihshean and get this, I'LL NEVER BE LIKE THEM. (not saying this in a bad way, more like a we have different personalities way)

And last but not least, as for me being useless and worthless and concluding that im gonna be a failure in life, i just think it's a stupid argument cause it doesn't even make sense. Like soomei said "nobody measures worthiness from the ability to keep your things intact" It's amazing how after all these years, im still a relatively cheerful and optimistic person and have not turned to the dark side lol and how i always go to my friends and say stupid stuff like "MX IS COOL" or "MX IS THE BEST!" or "MX IS AWSOME!" and draw stupid smiley faces all over their paper. I guess i do that subconsciously all the time to remind myself that im not useless or worthless or a failure in life and to stay happy always since that's kinda like my goal in life huh. Happiness is not a measure of how successful you are. Remember that!

Thank god i wasn't eating maggi noodles for dinner or all my tears would have dropped in even though i do wonder if food tainted with tears really make you sadder lol I ate 1/4 of my carrot cake and 1 out of 4 of the honey chicken wings. But one thing's for sure, nothing taste good when you're sad. And i completely lost my appetite since my mum was yakking away while i was eating, and the worst part was that i had to supress my tears, it's NO EASY TASK OKAY! If she saw me crying, my face would have her handprint in an instant.

Even when i was younger, the more i cried, the harder i kena hit. But when i was young, i could run to my dad and hide behind him and he would defend me... i wonder when that stopped... now that i'm older, you gotta supress your tears and stand on your own two feet until the battle's over cause all my dad's gonna do is watch silently. But of cause the moment im left alone i would run to the kitchen and cry my heart out lah I'm not that strong after all. I just find myself a little bit useless for crying over this since i should have been use to it. Time like these, i wish i had an older brother LOL

And today's one of those days i wish i wasn't the only child of my parents. Or that i was someone else. Someone perfect that could live up to their standards. Someone i will never be so LIVE WITH IT PEOPLE! =D

No matter how you looked at it, Gakuen Alice looked like a kid's anime/manga lol which was why i didn't watch it earlier. But i was bored and the anime was rated well on anime season so i decided to give it a try hahaha well at least it's not one of those transformation anime where the characters take like 30seconds of show time transforming into super human beings like shugo chara or cardcaptor or mermaid melody LOL even though their transformation dialogues are hilarious :) "watashi no kokoro, unlocku!" (my heart, unlock!), "negative hearto, lock on! open hearto!" LOL that's from shugo chara or or "PICHI PICHI VOICE!" LOL

Well, Gakuen Alice was actually quite enjoyable. It's about kids with special abilities(x-ray vision, super memory, time-traveling, mid-reading etc.) known as Alice attending the school Gakuen Alice and about their school days la hahaha the relationship between two of the main characters, mikan and hotaru (they are best friends) remind me of my relationship with bihshean lol i play the clumsy a little bit retarded character and she plays the VIOLENT cum rational character, and the fact that she denies being my (poly)best friend hahaha Or maybe not.

And like Ouran High School Host Club and Special A, it's one of those animes where people pray for a second season but usually don't get one despite the online petitions. Which i find is a waste for Gakuen Alice, because they have a good plot in the manga that they can explore into, not like i have read it, but you know, wikipedia :)

What i don't like about Gakuen Alice(anime) though, is that there wasn't much focus on the romance aspect of the characters! They totally left out the part where Mikan and Natsume got stuck together by sticky balls and Natsume had to hold her hand, the effect wore off after 2hours but Natsume kept on holding her hand saying that bad things will happen if she moved her hand. They slept together that night(purely, nothing happened, they are 12!) and Natsume hugged her and said "I'll return you to Ruka tomorrow" (from the manga, chapter 54, i read this and a few other parts :P) and the part where there was a black out and she was with Natsume and Ruka, and the both of them held her hand the same time during the black out and told each other that they have bad taste in woman LOL or the part where Natsume said "your hands... i don't want to give them to anybody else..." but that happened in the future lah so it's not like it'll happen in the first series :( SEEE! They totally left out the love triangle between Mikan and Natsume and Ruka (BEST FRIENDS) LOL BIHSHEAN!!! your favourite wor =P hehe

If i had a choice on what alice (special abilities) i could have, i would choose the one where you could inject a soul into stuff toys hahaha This was kaname's ability, and it was at the expense of his life, but he continued doing so because he wanted the people around him to be happy, and he was a hopeless romantic and a lonely person because his parents was always away. sigh. Yes, I'm an only child, I'm single, I'm lonely can?!!! LOL It was really touching lo, the first living stuff toy he created would send him flowers everyday when he was back at school (he was hospitalised) i almost cried :'(

Speaking of crying, i was on the bus today and i saw this st.nick's girl crying, and her boyfriend was doing this rubbing elbow-hand on back-hand on shoulder-rubbing shoulder-kiss on the cheek-wisper at the ear-kiss on the cheek routine. I WASN'T SPYING, but their actions were kinda glaring yah HAHA and the sun was shining brightttttt. I guess when your single, and you see PDA like this, you start wondering how nice it would be if you had someone to rely on when you cried. But then again, i've never really seen the whole cry-and-then-jump-into-the-guy's-arms routine lol i would love to, even though i don't think the effect would be as romantic in real life as compared to anime/drama with the whole slow-down effect, repetitions on different(optional) angles, close up on the eye contact, and the bright glistering tears LOL

And besides, most of the time i cry alone so... when i was young, i used to cry a lot when i got punished by my mom or when i got lost at shopping centres.. now that i'm older, i cry over crushes and broken friendships (HARDLY LA, but happened before) and animes/dramas LOL even though it's more of 1tear drop accidentally slip down my cheek for the anime/drama part hahaha i almost cried while watching 07 Ghost too! LOL the part where Teito's best friend Mikoto died and reincarnated into this cute pink fluffy thing to be able to be with/protect his best friend in his next life. I still think 07 Ghost is kinda BL (boy's love). I don't see any of my male friends saying "I love you" to each other =X hahahaha

Ohyah, i was thinking if i should create an anime blog, to you know, record my feelings after every anime i watch, but seeing as how i go off-rail i think i better stick to this one haha after all, i could still blog about anything i want, except the posts on anime would be quite scattered huh lol

YAY Common test's over! EBA's over! Because it is a non-examinable moudule, we won't be doing EBA for the final exams, so what's left are the projects, which i really really dread, but we can't have the best of both worlds huh. Anyway, i didn't change any of my answers for the MCQ today haha First instinct policy! LOL

I ate maggi mee for lunch (3rd time this week i think) before heading to school, but by the time exams ended i was starving again. So me, bih and sweemun had subway for lunch/tea! hahaha finished my subway melts, 2cookies and drink, so you can imagine how much brain power i used up during the exams :X studying makes me hungry hahahaha

Anyway, we had a cheers meeting at 4.30pm at blk53 08-04 but at 4.40, we were lost and 08-04 was a mini-room that was unoccupied (we even had to "borrow" ppl's fingerprints to get in). Turns out, the correct room was 04-08 -_- feels like one of those numbers you buy for 4D which you'll never win lol

But everything looked correct. So i randomly chose capability. But at the last minute i changed it to credit. And guess what? The answer was capability. It should have been CAPACITY. But in our notes the words "ability to pay" came up beside capacity, so i confused it with capability. DAMNNNN IT. And in my essay question, i wrote creditability in place of credit. Double DAMNNNN IT. But i'm still gonna pass lah i just feel wronged. Tomorrow 30MCQs leh, i scared ah.

Before CMA, it was Red Thread/Thread of Destiny. So what's before Human Resource Management? Prince Of Tennis! HAHAHAHA HRM was freaking boring, I felt like sleeping when i read the notes. So, i started motivating myself to study HRM by allowing myself to watch 1match of POT in between each chapter lol Sure, i didn't use time efficiently, but it did help me concentrate on getting the chapters memorised fast and effectively in anticipation of the next match! LOL here's a true addict for you :)

Anyway, the paper was okay. And when people say okay, it usually means something like, "i can probably pass but i dunno how well i did" hahahah First question only i kena careless mistake hahaha it was a MCQ question. I knew the answer, and the answer was right, BUT i ticked at the wrong column of the answer sheet. I ticked C when i should have ticked D. ARGH And then the second question. Who the hell would know what "Graphoanalysis" means? It's not even in our notes! I chose the definition "an analytical test to measure reasoning and mental abilities". Bih chose "the use of graphs" for obvious reasons, and sweemun chose lie detector. and guess what? ALL OF US WERE WRONG! I checked on dictionarydotcom and its really a system of handwriting analysis. BOO and our answers to the essay qustions were kinda different too :(

Lol anyway it's over and we're left with 2 more papers, fmgt & eba! LOL MOTIVATION MOTIVATION. Okay now it's time to sleep. I hardly slept last night :P and i wonder whose fault it is lol

So, i ended up watching Red Thread the drama on mysoju friday night, that is, the night before my cma paper on saturday morning LOL. All the scenes for the movie trailer came from the drama hahah they are using the same actors and part of the plot i guess. However, i did not cry as expected. The show had many focuses, love, friendship, drug addiction, violent boyfriends, pregnancy so on and so forth. Thus, the emotional content between the two couples pretty low :( But it was still a nice drama lah hahaha i'll still be watching the movie thou, wanna see what's changed.

So at 6am, i finally stopped with the drama and got ready for school. I reached school 1hr earlier at 7.15am, when we had to be at the examination hall at 8.15 lol So i practiced 1problem, read through some of the theory part, waited for bih and sweemun and headed to the examination hall together. The paper was easy, thank god lol I finished it after 45minutes and when students could start leaving, me and sweemun were waiting for bih to leave, while bih was waiting for the both of us to leave. So end up, none of us left and ended up checking through our papers multiple times -_- hahahah We had lunch at Great World City after that then home sweet home lo.

Spent Sunday at my cousin's house lol Finally, after almost 1month of not being there haha Had lunch, rented 2 movies from square2 and spent the afternoon watching the 2movies lo. Aquamarine, and How to lose a guy in 10days lol There were no subtitles! So we couldn't hear what they were talking most of the time lol And there was a mini sex part on how to lose a guy in 10days, so all the adults were like, "why you all watch this kinda show?" so we ended up fast-forwarding the part LOL Okay seriously, they were just kissing passionately, naked, but no body parts were shown hhahahahha Yah anyway, we had Pizza Hut for dinner, i napped for awhile and then me, felicia and my aunt ended up playing daidee ahahaa then home sweet home.

As for today, i woke up at 5pm and haven't started studying on HRM lol and the exam's tomorrow! Thank god it's at 1.30PM LOL :P

First common test tomorrow, Cost and Managerial Accounting, 8.30am LOL I've completed 3/4 of the chapters, so should be okay bah. The cher said it's very easy and you'll do well if you did your tutorials, and i did, so let's cross our fingers and hope what he has said is true :)

Updates on the past few days, just in case i forget.

Friday: Farewell party for Leslie and Birthday party for Qingqing and Yiguang with the cambies. Had Soba at kobayashi (i think the one at ichiban sushi's better lol), watched Night At The Museum AGAIN, but this time digital. I guess the sound's louder? OTher than that, can't spot the difference. And i fell asleep during the show haha com'on whatdya expect?! Dinner at holland, then home. Oh 8 out of 12 of us got an A for social psychology, and I'm one of them! YOHOO! But i can't believe scumbag-girlfriend-cheater got the highest. The world's unfair. But despite being a cheating asshole, he is rather smart -_- maybe that's why he thinks he can cheat. Humph.

Saturday: Woke up at 5+Pm i guess, dinner, anime, sleep? That's what i usually do on saturdays so yah. LOL

Sunday: Woke up at 10.45AM. Lunch at some restaurant at Jurong with my parents, my aunt(father's side), and hongrui's parents. Was tired, sick, and horribly bored. The restaurant we were at were holding a "wedding lunch" LOL their MC sucked like hell. Switching from singlish to hokkien. The groom looks too young, and judging from his hair, he's either still in NS or fresh out of NS. And his bride lol older, and a little bit fat hahaha I think she's pregnant LOL But im guessing lah lol I just don't get why the young dude has such an old, lousy MC LOL And seriously, wedding lunch at a small corner of the restaurant while there are other customers like me to look-look-see-see hahaha must be a really tight budget wedding, probably saving for the baby or something hahahah again, my guess. If it was me, i would skip the whole "wedding lunch" crap and just save the money for our honeymoon! hahahah

Okay so after lunch we headed to another of my dad's relative's place. So while the adults chattered on about boring topics, i sat at one corner and read the book I recently bought, "(What's a girl got to do with...) An Offer You Can't Refuse". Well i finished it in one afternoon(300+pages bah) so you can see how bored i was. HAPPY ENDING! Anyway there were 2boys at the house, primary 5 and primary 3 i think Lol i think Johnathan and Nicholas were their names but anyway, i thought the older kid looked kinda fierce and the type to bully his younger brother lol which he did la. He kept shouting at him to come down (from upstairs) and trying to pull him down the stairs. While the younger brother's quiet, shy and better looking LOL Just my observation. Didn't interact much, cause i was reading and i don't know how to start any interaction lol i just smiled everytime the older kid looked at me LOL

So, after that all of us had dinner at Clementi West market or something, some famous chicken rice store. The adults ordered A LOT of chicken rice. 3plates of chicken leh! LOL Yah after that yadda yadda then FINALLY, home sweet home. God i was tired. And cause i was sick, and tired, i went to bed early lol well the earliest i could remember for the whole week.

Monday: Lessons from 9-3++ so after that me, sweemun, zijia and weiqian played taboo at the games room before the cheers meeting at 5, which was completely useless and something we could have done without. Went home, dinner, completed a quiz on facebook, did EBA for today's presentation.

Today: school from 10-8. Spent my 3hour break reading Ouran High School Host Club's manga, sleeping (cause i stayed up the previous night to watch taiwan drama My Queen), doing japanese homework/kanji and completed FMGT tutorial lol Speaking of japanese haha i thought that the teacher was gonna give us the english translation while we wrote the kanji form so i didn't learn the hiragana form lol so in the end... hmmm we all do something we are not proud of in our life time haha the important is, that you don't get caught ;)

Anyway quiz updates. So far 11people have taken the quiz, and *drums roll* TEN HAVE FAILED THE TEST! Even my cousins Hongrui(overseas) and felicia(local) got only 26% LOL And jiaqi, oh god bless jiaqi, he put my country of birth as THAILAND LOL And the reigning champion is none other then KENNARD CHONG WEN JI at 60% LOL OH SERIOUSLY, it isn't that hard! LOL They were questions you could have answered if you were more observant or you listen well when people are talking. Cause at some point of time, i've revealed all these stuff before, even in my blog! So yah. LOL okay so maybe it's a little bit hard and tricky, but it's not something you can't do you know! I mean what's the fun in asking questions like, "what's the colour of my hair?" or "where in Singapore do i live?" BORING BORING LOL

Anyway, for those who haven't taken test, PLEASE DO! HAHAHA

See if you can beat Kennard! No prize though :S
