Finished reading "The Joy Of Being Happy" at 2am last night. It's a fanfiction. Not bad even though i still prefer "Cinderella~ But the glass slippers never belonged to me"

Contradictory to it's name, the story's really morbid, actually just the end LOL The main character ended up swallowing 30pills to commit suicide ("Will the thirtieth one bring him back alive? Will I finally be happy?" ) and her ex-best friend ended up in jail/mental institude for killing the main character's most recent boyfriend, singing "oh... oh the joy... the joy of being happy..." LOL

But the line that hit me the most was when the guy was convincing the girl that there's nothing wrong in them being together just because she is six years older then him (he's 19 while she's 25)

“Right. So we wait? We wait until you’re 30 and I’m 24? You’re 35 and I’m 29? You’re 40 and I’m 34? Oh how about you're 100 and I'm 94? What age is appropriate for you noona? So that you don’t feel guilty about ‘robbing the cradle’ because I guarantee you, if you’re with me – I’m the one that’s gonna be ROCKING YOU.”

hahahahha I would have melted. The line in bold was in my mind all day while working ;P

But the story did make me think a little about me and u-noe-who lol

“Do you still feel love when you’re with him? Or do you feel what you think is love? We always want to fix our mistakes. Sometimes, we just never really get over the emotions we felt in the past.”

Yups. You know how they always say it's not the one you can live with, but the one you cannot live without? Yah, it hit me that over the 1year,3months and 19days that I've liked him, we've spent probably less then 50days together. And I'm PERFECTLY FINE about it. It's not that i don't miss him, it's just that, it doesn't really affect me. Which leads to the question, "do i really like him?"

I haven't seen him in 2months. I wonder how it'll be like the next time i do.

Yup, i guess this is it. I'm not completely over him, but I'm making an effort hahahaha But then again, like with exercising, I might come back here the next time i see him saying something like "It's impossible after all, to get over him..." You never know :) Let's wish that that doesn't happen, but don't get your hopes too high hahahaha

Chinese new year was a blast, so far. My favourite part is of course the red packets, followed by spending LOTSA time with my family and cousins and of course, THE FOOOD

Reunion at Prima on new year's eve (the restaurant that rotates so the scenery changes every few minutes), buffet lunch at quality hotel and dinner at some chinese restaurant (BETTER then prima) on chu1. And dine again at some seafood place on chu2 hahaha

But then again, all good things come to an end. Especially when you have an econs report due today(its after 12) at 6pm and an obse report due tomorrow during lesson. Ahwell, it'll eventually work out, i guess.

Anyway i got distracted while doing my econs report and ended up on youtube, and i saw this very funny video and its remix hahahaha

Clash of Personalities


JAPANESE 102 IS OFFICIALLY OVER!

Overall, I think I've done well :D (I'm not gonna pretend to be humble lol)

Anyway, i've taken another personality test and wow. I've turned from an extravert to an 11% introvert lol No, I'm not surprised haha but it doesn't mean I'm no longer outgoing, fun-loving and crazy. It simply means I'm tired of meeting new people all the time and I'm comfortable being alone, sometimes.

Yupppps. I'm going shopping with Nigel tomorrow and buying his long-overdued 17th birthday present.

He bought me expensive chocolate today. What a sweetie lol

And maybe, I'll buy myself new year clothes too :)

Too much


The speech was okay, I forgot a few lines here and there, but it wasn't a total disaster. Better then my first interview presentation, in fact.

I order $6 worth of Yong Tau Hu lol It was my first time, i may have over-ordered. People were staring at me when i walked past them with my two bowls of whatever, bihshean called me a monster hahaha But i did finish everything though, down to the last drop of soup. And mind you, i had two bowls of soup. I have no idea how i did it. I know i know, i was supposed to restrict my diet, but it's all vegetables so i guess it's alright.

I almost fell down 3times today, thank god i didn't choose to wear heels to school for the presentation. Freaking tired.

Actually, i still am. So I'm gonna end this and go off to sleep.

The weather has been freaking cold these last few days. High pressure from China. The same's happening in Thailand and it'll probably last through the weekends. Yes, i read the news, occasionally.

Not complaining, it's just that, the jackets that i wear all the time have unfunctional zips, or no zips at all. Yes i should get a jacket with a zip haha I don't know.. the weather's making me feel cold.. and lonely.. especially when i walk home alone at night.

Anyway, i finished a book, now i just need to get down to my other four haha

And hopefully finish D-gray man by tomorrow. 90/103. Shouldn't be hard.

Not looking forward to work, as usual.

I'm exhausted. Just got back from a shopping spree with my parents. Bought mainly formal wear for school presentations and *LOL* heels, again, for school presentations.

Had 3 tests this week lol
1) Bcomm report writing- i probably wrote out of point
2) Bstats- Very very very hard paper. Praying for a just-pass happy liao
3) Japanese 102 written test- I passed it LOL But the score's not confirmed yet

Up next:
1) Bcomm final speech (5% next monday, 20% the week after)
2) Japanese 102 speaking test (next tuesday)
3) OBSE Teamwork in Service project (deadline's next week i think)
4) Miec report (deadline's supposed to be next week, but i think it got extended lol)

Just when i though i could have a good rest, work starts piling up again. And after all that it's the final exams *gulp* I'll start preparing early this time, i will i will i will... lol

While i was at NTUC, I saw a pair of star-crossed baby lovers. It was adorable! No la the babies don't know each other, they just happen to pass by each other. But when they did, they looked into each other's eyes and stretched their hands out! I know i know, you guys probably think i'm imagining this hahahaha

Lol people have been asking me if I've grown fat. The sad truth is, i have. :(

From now on, I'm cutting down on junk food and midnight snacks, fried food and fast food and I'm gonna stick to an all veggie diet till CNY, unless it's a home cooked meal la then bobian must give face to my mother so must eat abit hahaha

So that means no chips, chocolate, chicken chop/cutlet, mac/kfc/subway, butter waffle, famous amos... from now on. What a downer at the start of the year :(

Maybe I'll do situps, like how nick used to make me do when we were in primary 5/6. 100situps a day, though I'm not sure if it worked. Or hit the gym. Yeah, probably should. For health and a better body LOL How many times have i said that..

hmm other then school, it's just anime hahaha Current watch's D-gray Man. Dang the comic artist fell sick and can't continue drawing so the anime's at an incomplete end :( Yah i know you guys don't care hahahah

Ok I'm gonna take a short nap before hitting the shower..

Should i study MIEC tonight...? hahahha

It's decided, my last day of work will be 08 February lol

Bstats and Bcomm test tomorrow, i think I'm gonna do badly, unless i cram tonight, but very unlikely since i just got back from work =X

Tempted to buy a few chick lit books again hahaha but i haven't finished my lot yet So... :(

I'm quitting kinokuniya haha I'm tending my resignation tomorrrow.

Just kinda sad cause i only have 2more months to go before I've worked there 6months and qualify for staff card.

But then again, many have told me that you'll only get it after 8-9months or so.

And year2's not gonna be easy, no more modules exemption. Which means 5days week.

Monday-Friday school, weekends work, abit exhausting ah.

And what with plans to join a CCA hahah

At least i can get my weekends back and visit my grandma and cousins on the weekends again.

Ahwell, you win some, you lose some.

No regrets :)

Above's a book title on a slip of paper from a customer my colleague found, just thought it was interesting. Probably chicklit.

Now, people keep asking me what's chicklit, or chickflick. I know what it is, but I'm not a pocket dictionary(pocket, cos I'm small LOL) so here goes. From wikipedia.

Chick lit is a term used to denote genre fiction within women's fiction written for and marketed to young women, especially single, working women in their twenties and thirties.

Chick flick (also "chick's flick") is slang for a film designed to appeal to a female target audience.

Get it? Lol

On a scale of 1-10, 2008 was probably a 7. Good times more then bad times. Bad times mainly concentrated round december. Because because.

Friendship forecast: Stormy (2008 was friends forever. 2009's we'll probably lose contact soon)
Love forecast: Hazy (for obvious reasons)
Studies forecast: Pleasant (jus need a little catching up ;))
Health: Rainy (Insomia and the occasional flu)
