I had two plans today.

One was to have dinner with jialing (colleague from kino).

The other was a movie meetup with my Talent-development-programme (TDP) group Kungfu warriors.

Both was called off.

First because jialng said she didn't need me to accompany her anymore.

Second because 6people had backed out last minute.

And i was actually looking forward to today T_T

Ahwell, because of these two cancelations, i got to sleep till 5PM hohoho

So i'm satisfied.

And i didn't spend a single cent. Well, i didn't have much money to spend anyway hahaha

There's work tomorrow, and than movie with the morning shift people.

I have a very low threshold of pain.

For the first time in my seventeen.point.five years of life, i experienced threading, the removal of unwanted facial hair. And god it was painful! Well it's understandable since it was my first time, they say it gets better after that, but i really wonder if i'll have enough courage to want to do it again. By the end of the session, i was practically in tears.

I started off with biting on my fingers, and than it was kicking myself because my hand was obstructing the person, and than eventually i just started tearing, abit. A 10minute process became 40minutes because i kept stopping the person whenever i felt a sharp pain, which is probably once every few strokes she makes with the thread. Every single stroke was like having a knife slicing at my skin(at first,really). Again and again and again. But it's true, it does get better. After the hair of a certain area gets removed, you stop feeling the pain. And your skin feels smoother, and fairer too.

Luckily for my eyebrows, they shaved it instead of pluck it. If it was the latter, hohoho... I don't care if shaving means the "brow-hair" will grow back faster, i just don't want to feel the pain. I've tried it once (plucking, the week during prom last year) and i'm never going through the same process again. Anyway shaving's practically painless, and a lot faster =) which suits me well.

But come to think of it, if threading and plucking of your brows are already this painful, what about people who goes through waxing? I can NEVER understand why women subject themselves to such tortures just to look better for awhile, only for the beauty to fade away after a few short years, or months, or weeks, or days! Whatever happened to inner-beauty, The one that will stay with you forever?

I know i know, having said all that, i still did rebonding, plucking/shaving of my brows (twice) and threading (FIRST time only okay). But i did what i did today only because my mum had a free package deal and she didn't want to waste it (I wouldn't have tried it myself). After all, no harm trying right? But i'll stop at these three. I'm all for natural beauty :) so plastic surgery of any kind is out for me. Sure, you'll look beautiful after that, but the process of recovery and the pain that goes with it, send shivers down my spine. And this is why im not getting braces, yet. It hurts, and imagine the ulcers that comes with it. Arrrr...

Anyway, being pretty doesn't make you a better person. But being a better person makes you pretty (me thinks.) I'm not saying that all pretty people are mean (though some really are) la, there are ugly-but-unkind people out there too (and their unkindness just made them uglier by a million times)! I guess, what i'm saying is, outer-beauty isn't everything. What's the point of being pretty when people recoil from your personality? All you've gotta do is, be yourself, be kind to others, and let your pretty-ness shine from within :) Though being pretty does give you certain advantages.. that the average and below takes harder to achieve.. OK! Back to topic! LOL

As for painless beauty treatments such as manicures (i've done it either once, or twice only la), i only go for colours like light pink HAHA nothing outrageous for me, so it's kinda wasted. And if im doing it myself (hardly) it's TRANSPARENT LOL i just like the shine =) I've never done padicure because i'm almost always in covered shoes.

Lol but i do wash my face daily and apply toner (sometimes) because i don't like pimples, and i enjoy facial masks once in awhile =) I like the hydrated freshness and the smoothness after that. But yeah, that's about all i do, if anything, to improve slightly on the way i look. And i don't apply make-up, at all. I'm not gonna say i won't in the future, because i probably have to, for work and all. But given a choice, i would rather not LOL Bleah, let's stick with simplicity :)

But i'm still beautiful in my own way ;) *buck-tooth-smile*

I thought i lost my ez-link card today. So on the way home i was thinking i could take a new IC photo for my new card, since i looked like a maid on the previous one. And i paid a dollar for my bus trip home. Than when i was standing on the front steps of my house, searching for my keys, i pulled out a familiar rectangular object. My ez-link card hahaha and before that i already called back home to report my loss, so my aunt already called SBS. And i was so sure i lost it. Because i digged my bag to take out my wallet for the spare coins lol Bleah. I'm used to things magically disappearing and appearing again lol What with my haunted room and all that LOL :P

But i'm improving, i'm sure of it. After all, my balance sheet balanced today! No excess, no shortage. ACCURATE! Prove that i'm improving =D

Today was my first day as an independent cashier, and god it was !!!!!!!! Why of all counters, they put me at counter C! C for complains. C for confusiosn. C for chaos. C for cashier.. LOL

Anyway, got to know that there were THREE NYP interns LOL And they're all classmates! So lucky right?!! And im finally making some friends so im happy :D

Had dinner with kennard at pizzahut lol The waitress put us at a very comfortable seat, you know, near the cushions. But forgot to take our order, or ask for the bill. And kennard was like, "she puts us at a nice place so she can ignore us" lol

Anyway, we both ordered for the offered setmeal. 2Breadstix, 1soup, 1 ice-lemon tea, 1 small pan pizza(haiwaian) and a scoop of ice-cream for $11.90. It was a good deal i think haha i'm very full now, not to mention sleepy zZzZz

Anyway, we were talking about whom we thought looked the best in our clique hahaha

I passed my cashering "test" except that i would have to practice a lot on jacketing lol Other than that, i'll be able to open my own counter this friday Lol STRESS! Oh and my parents paid me a "surprise" visit today at kino. Wah, damn pai seh lo! Anyway, we had dinner at Ting Tai Feng after that and i finally got to eat my Xiao Long Bao! LOL

Anyway, NP has decided that cross-level students don't get to choose their own timetables and that the system will choose an "ideal" one for us. I don't really care about that, but i do hope they put me in the same class as Bih Shean lol Or else ah, die ah, nobody to provide me with notes andd answers to photocopy LOL =P

And for some reason, i can only view 6episodes of Code Geass a day. Bleah. I was really getting into it la! It's a nice anime haha other than the fact that there're good looking guys in it. Ahwell.

Just got back from work not long ago. I like the idea of having earned a day's income lol. Today was great, probably cause it was a tuesday and i was doing the morning shift. Hardly any queue going on. It was very relaxed, unlike the first 3days. And my trainer today was entertaining and we got to walk around a few times haha :) And tomorrow's my cashiering exam lol Wish me luck! ;P

Speaking of exam, we got back our results yesterday. 1 distinction, 1 A, 2 B+ and 2 Bs, resulting in a GPA of 3.5. Let's just say im happy that i hit my target of 3.5 and sad because i could have done better haha And now im gonna say i'll work harder next semester and do all my tutorials but we all know i won't.

Speaking of yesterday, there was a BBQ at East Coast Park for TB23's class gathering. I wouldn't call it a class gathering though, less than half the class attended. Heck, less then 10 attended. There was only 7 of us. Me, weiqi, yuankai, ansar, chingyang, glenn and dugra. There were too many food(imagine 150satay sticks), and too few of us. It was fun though, we started playing with fire and ansar and yuankai's threatened to be thrown into the sea, which was entertaining to watch hehe though it didn't happen

And 2days ago i was having an interesting conversation with kennard. He was telling me about a bug he killed, and i was telling him how his life span would decrease because he took the life of another. He was gonna say i won't live long too, because who doesnt walk on the streets and accidentally step on ants? So i replied by saying that that kind's unintentional, and accidental, because when we do that we didn't have a killing motive to begin with haha and so it doesn't count LOL As for the rest, read it yourself:

Phew, one burden off my shoulders :) I was pretty worried i would forget to wish these two guys lol because i just got off from work (late), and i still have work today! Really regret that i couldn't celebrate birthday with either of them :( Ahwell, maybe i'll have better luck in other years LOL

So, let's talk about work LOL For those retarded ones who still don't know, i'm working as a cashier at KINOKUNIYA haha So, i hate card transactions. So mafan, then still have to wait. Cash transactions are the best! Fast and easy! (and card transations cannot kapok money LOL Just kidding!) I'm still very blur with the cash register. So many buttons it gets really confusing but i'm slowly getting the hang of it. Oh and I learnt how to do japanese wrapping for gift vouchers and book cover :D Learnt jacketing (you know,plain cover over your book) and gift wrapping too, but haven't tried it yet lol Hm and my feet really hurts! I have to stand for 8hours, plus my shoes are really tight! By the end of the day, it hurt so bad i couldn't walk properly X( But other than that, nothing liao lo.

My cousin came but couldn't find me :( But Yuankai and Weiqi came to visit too :D LOL Okay la it wasn't for me, it was cause Yuankai wanted to get some Learn Thai Language stuff and wanted my membership card to get discount lol That mei liang xin (no heart) one probably won't visit if he didn't have an excuse to make use of me HAHA So long never see him, so long never quarell with him, i actually kinda miss that guy! Lol Probably cause he's not a bully (LOL what i mean is, bully pick on people smaller their size, but yuankai don't, because we're about the same size. So, what i'm saying is, HE'S SHORT :) and Yes, that was meant to be an unsult. Look at the underlying meanings! ;P)

Oh and you know what? 29 more days and i would have liked JQ for a year. Time really flies huh. And i've been thinking. Maybe i SHOULD take the advice of all my unsupportive friends lol It has become apparent that the possibility of us ever getting together is 0.000...01%. That guy loves his maths more than me! Sometimes i even doubt that he treats me as a part of the clique, despite the fact that we watch movies and have dinner together. When his math score drops, he'll go "Eh, my maths deprove le leh" but even when we haven't met for a really really really long time, he doesn't show ANY reaction. Not even asking me how i am on MSN. Sigh :( And despite the almost-going-to-like-him-for-1-year deal, he just keeps on going "mx will get over me soon" and right now he probably thinks i dont like him any more, but it won't make any difference i guess since i'm trying to get over him? Sigh again.

So, as you all know. The best way to get over someone is to fall in love with someone else. And that's what i'm attempting to do. It's only been one day. Doesn't seem to be working. But we'll see...

Just got back from Malaysia, and man it was such a horrible trip, the worst in all these years. I probably won't go back for the next 12years or so. (The last time i went was 12years ago, or so my parents claim, but i don't have memory of that AT ALL) Luckily for me, i don't have any relatives living in Malaysia lol I guess i only have to go back for like, school trips or something. I don't feel like blogging about the trip, but i think i should, to remind myself how horrible it is if my future-me is retarded enough to want to go back LOL Here goes.


Dear Future -Me,

If your thinking of going to Malaysia for a holiday trip, don't, it will ruin it all. Now, let me remind retarded-you on why you shouldn't go back to that ****-hole.

1. The toilets. They are wet, dirty, some has no toilet paper and can't be flushed at times! And the worst, they are squat toilets. You HATE squat toilets. So unless your prepared to avoid the toilet all day until you reach the hotel at night, go ahead. I know you can, but why put yourself through this kinda torture? And your relatives did remind you that doing so hurts your health, you might result in kidney failure. Now now, you don't want to suffer for the rest of your life cause of one trip, do you?

2. The food. Remember the breakfast you had at one of those hotels in Penang? The pancakes were tasteless, the porridge too thick etc. And in one of those smses you sent to soomei ranting about how horrible the food was, you said "Eating breakfast here is a total waste of time. I rather sleep and starve" Remember, the only food you found barely edible was the orange juice, and it ain't even food -_- Even China's buffet breakfast in the hotels were 100times better, despite the lousy toilets too lol

3. The service. 1*/5* On the second day of your trip, the tour guide was supposed to bring you to a seaside restaurant for dinner. You were asked to wait at the lobby at 7, but the driver went missing until 8.30. In the end, your mum and aunt had to brave the harsh weather to buy food from opposite the hotel. And the aunties from the road-side stall were fierce and loud. Sigh And the tour guide was bloody boring.

4. Entertainment. Hardly any. The indoor themepark at Genting was boring, almost like escape. But i guess you can go back there with your friends to try the outdoor themepark. If you want to try the casino, make sure your already 21. But i suggest going back to Korea if you want more fun (from the themeparks)

5. The hotels. If your going back to genting, make sure you don't stay in First World Hotel. The lousiest in the area, the room was small and smelly. But it's near to the indoor themepark and stuff, so if you don't mind... No other comments, since i only stayed in 2hotels. But the ones in China were so much better la.

6. The bus. If your going back, just take a first class solitaire bus straight to Genting, without the stopovers at Penang or Ipoh or wherever. They have screens for movies and games, and massage chairs!

7. The mood. To you, going Malaysia doesn't even count as going overseas. So what's the point? There are so many other places you can go to, where you want to go! Like, Russia, Spain, Canada, Egypt, Europe, USA, Japan, HongKong, Taiwan, Antartica! And you love plane rides, remember?

Overall, going Malaysia is a 1*/5* experience. I hope after reading all this, you have made a wise decision not to go back there. I wish you luck, if you are. But don't regret it.

Met up with Songen and Kennard for lunch at Ichiban today, played pool(they did) and caught Wall.E. Bloody adorable, i tell you. I think following your love to the ends of the earth, or universe, just to be with him/her is such a romantic thing to do. And the movie made me wanna have a hand to hold on to Awwww LOL and the humans were comical lol but i certainly hope we don't evolve to be like that in the future (fat & lazy) lol

Oh and one other thing, KINOKUNIYA hired me! They called me back on Monday, a lot faster then i thought they would, since they said they'll get back to me within 2weeks Lol i start work orientation next Wednesday, can't wait! And when school reopens, i'll probably be working on all weekends for 8hours each day, since i'm obliged to work for at least 6months hahah Ahwell, can't be helped. The extra income and getting books i want at a discounted price totally makes up for it. And i'm desperate for a good book to read. Probably getting The Host by Stephanie Meyer or The Gargolye by what's-his-name-i-can't -remember :P

And now, i'm waiting for Bihshean to sms/msn me about the charity event tomorrow. I hope she does it soon though, i'm kinda tired lol And my eyelids are getting heavier by the minute.

Tried 5types of wine today, from Gemany, Australia and Greece. My favourite? Cordon Cut Riesling from Australia. Desert wine. Sweet. 12% alcohol content. $49.

When he walked pass our stall, i waved enthusiastically and said Hello hahaha He looked at me than at our stall and asked, "what is this?" than me and bishean answered "wine" in unison. Lol And than he smiled and walked away...

Ohhh and i got a picture of his backview LOL Anyway, he looks a lot smaller in person hahaha Not tall, just slightly taller then me hahaha and he has the shape of a big cuddly teddy bear hahaha i hope i don't get sued for this lol
