Okay, back from Sports Camp yesterday. Surprisingly, i actually enjoyed the camp. This camp has the best damn food ever among all the camps i've been to. No packaged food. Buffet for every meal(except for breakfast, where we get bread with kaya, butter or jam. And supper where we get biscuits and milo), bout 4-5 choices, ranging from fish to chicken to mutton to vegetables to noodles to curry to fried rice to squid and stuff, cept that the group leaders serve us while we queue for the food, but we're free to go for second helpings, or thirds lol which is basically what i did for almost every meal. Not that i was that hungry, i just wanted to eat lol for the energy! And then there's desert for every meal too! I took like, 5helpings of the longan desert on the second day's dinner =D
LOL okay nuff bout the food. This is a sports camp, not a food camp!
So bascially, on the first day, we did introduction, ice-breakers,whacko and blow wind blow, and mass games, caterpillar soccer and dead ant. After that was lunch followed by camp cheer practices. After that our group(HECTOR) proceeded to our first station, floor ball, where we got to try it out and even have a mini competition. I really enjoy floorball, it seems like fun, im actually considering joining them, even though im not so much a sports person lol So after floorball was touch rugby, where we played this catching game with the rugby lol followed by track and field, where we did high jump and long jump(i can't jump for nuts!) and the 4x100m thingy. After rugby was frisbee, which i suck at and dodge ball. I can dodge, but i dun't have to strengeth to hit the opponents with the ball lol, but i enjoy it thou, as long as i don't get hit! After rugby was dinner at canteen4, followed by this slacking session lol and nightwalk. It's really funny lol haha the first thing we had to do was take a lift up to the 7th floor. A normal lift, but without the lights, so it was pitch dark, except for the lighting from the buttons. haha me and my partner jamie went into the lift, but was so scared so we came out again and went in again. And during the journey up, she was like praying lol When the door of the lifts open, the GLs had a flashlight to their face waiting for us hahaha it was a shock, no doubt, but not scary lol even though jamie did scream hahaha we proceeded, walked along the corrider and went up to the 8th floor. lol we were already expecting people, so it wasn't so scary. Until i opened the door, and there was this figure in white with hair that covered its face waiting infront. My first reaction was like, "is that real?" and they're like, "you can go over and touch it if you want!" So me and jamie walked towards the door, and the figure started moving towards us. We jumped backwards, jamie started screaming again, while i started laughing. Then got this half-naked guy ran past the door, which wasn't that scary lah LOL yeah so finally we walked onto the roof and got our team identity back lol and took the stairs all the way to the ground floor. After that was a long 1hr+ waiting session while the others finish their walk. Went back to our sleeping place, showered, supper and debrief, and it was bed time, thank god LOL
Woke up at about 7.40am on the second day, washed up and breakfast. I took 3pieces of bread with butter lol. After breakfast was water games for our group. The first one was captain's ball but with water bombs instead. And the second one was um, you do some actions and the people have to guess the words lol. After that was canoe polo showcase. LOL they have a lot of hunks! Look at the muscles, man! LOL they're all very dark haha oh and the GL i like the most is from canoe polo too! He has a good figure, and he's hot! He's name is Ken LOL too bad not our group's GL, i would have loved that! Okay so anyway, after that we tried it out lah. Did canoeing, throwing the ball and passing. Time passed very fast, they only gave us 10minutes for each station, which was not enough time for me to oogle at the hoties LOL. So after canoe polo, we dry off and had lunch at the atrium. And after lunch we took a bus to kallang water sports centre. I slept most of my way there lol and it was super cold. After we reached, basically they briefed us on the safety precautions and all the commands and we got into our dragonboats. Yeah, so we rowed about, splashed other teams, and had 2mini competitions with the rest lol It was tiring okay. And i kept rubbing my thumb against the boat. And the water wasn't clean, you can't see shit beneath the water and it was stinging to my eyes i swear. Oh i fforgot to mention the dragon boat guys are fit too! Some are cute also hahahaha So after that we had water parade, where we are forced to drink 500ml of water which was sick! LOL felt so bloated after that. And i was all high when talking to douglas lol, i was like, "hey duck-less, you want my water? Maybe then the ducks will come back to you!" and he's like, diao. LOL the next stupid thing i said was telling jamie we're cousins, followed by "he's duck-less, im bird-less" lol and his reaction? "You get weirder by the second" lol. Okay so after that we took the bus back to school, 1hr washup and dinner! After dinner we went to the atrium, saw a video by the adventure seekers (another cca i want to join!) and had another nightwalk, blind folded this time. So walked around, kena splashed, and ended up on the field near the street-soccer court. Waited for other teams to finish their nightwalk and started the campfire. It was enjoyable, really. It's unlike other campfires i've attended like NPCC's, where all you do is sing cheers, which gets boring after awhile. This campfire, there was entertainment lol. And super hilarious i tell you lol. So after the campfire, we went back and had supper and free time till 1am. Actually you can stay up all night if you wanted to, just don't make noise at the sleeping area. So a lot of people stayed up till 3 or 4 in the morning while i went right to bed at 1+ lol what, i was tired!
Woke up at 8.40am the next morning. Washup and breakfast, then there were 2games for us. One was we had to draw out a story with a marker with lotsa strings tied to it, and we're not allowed to touch the markers, only allowed to touch the strings so basically thats it. The story goes along the lines of "It was a very sunny day, and on a field stood red riding hood. A ferarri sped past, and a meteor dropped from the sky, sprouting bananas from it. And then there was a merlion" LOL next was the trust game. Where we were supposed to stand on a table-tennis table and fall backwards into the arms of our team mates lol. Yeah i was abit afraid, i do have a phobia of falling. I trust my group, but not myself LOL but i did it anyway, and landed safely, thank god for that. Oh and Ken, the hottie i like, kena smashed in the nose by christerpher(this huge guy, also my classmate) when he landed. I feel sad for him, his nose was oozing with blood lah, luckily he wasn't disfigured lol but he left to get treated though. After this two games was lunch! For the first time i didn't finish my food, because it was spicy and there was curry lol but anyway, after that we had another telematch. Blahblahblah then we were given 1hr to packup. But because there was nothing for me to pack, just the sleeping bag to fold up, i went to take a short nap lol and woke up later to fold my sleeping bags and watch the competition between the mortals and the GLs in the boy's room lol They were playing yo mama when i came in lol the ones i remember was "yo mama's so ugly, she made blind children cry", "Yo mama's so scary when we walked into the haunted house, she came out with a job application", "Yo mama's so fat, when she jumped for joy, she got stuck!", The Gl's "Yo mama's so stupid she came for prep camp" and the mortal's "Yo mama's even dumber, she organised prep camp!" lol it was funny but time was running out, so it ended and we went back to gather. Had a song presentation from serene, ziqe i think and some other girl's whose name i don't know, they made a song called "suck suck ooi" lol for the camp. It was nice, and thougtful. But anyway, after that was prize presentation, our group HECTOR got the "Most thoughtful group" and all of us got free colourpencils-_- and a picture of our group photo. And then we were allowed to form into our groups again and was dismissed. lol oh i forgot to mention our group leaders were juan wen, jie ping and sardick, even though all along we thought it was jardick lol but yeah. Got their numbers and stuff, chatted abit more and we were dismissed. lol luckily i got my dad to fetch me haha my bag was heavier then when i went for the camp hahahaha
And yeah, that's it for the camp.
If you want to know what i did after that
Basically i rushed to start reading Eclipse, napped(i was CLEAN), had dinner, showered, chatted on msn and read my book till i fell asleep.
As for today, woke up and had lunch, read my book, had another nap, read some more, dinner, and here i am blogging. After this i'm gonna watch tv, read some more and sleep.
