I'm SEVENTEEN!

Hello people, this is my first post as a SEVENTEEN year old.

So how did i spend my birthday this year?

LOL seriously speaking, its a whole lot different from the way i spent it last year

Well to start off, there was no party

Secondly, i had to meet different groups of friends separately (some go jc, some go poly, kinda hard to coordinate lar so its really nobody's fault haha but if we could ALL get together it would be really cool thou)

Thirdly, no birthday cake, no candles (but i still made my 3 birthday wishes though,even without the candles lol i still hope it comes true haha)

Fourthly, i didn't get thrown into the pool or got forced into a dress haha which actually im quite thankful for even though it was fun lol

And lastly, i had SCHOOL (But really it was just an industry visit to the subordinate courts so it wasn't so bad, and i got to sit at the Accused stand, so it was really something)

But despite all that changes, some things just never change

For one, i still spent my birthday at my cousin's house (just for a shorter period of time though lol i spent the whole day there last year but just 2hours this year)

Secondly, we started celebrating the day BEFORE my birthday, aka my last day of 16-hood lol

Thirdly, i still got to celebrate with most of my friends, and some others lol

Fourthly, i did enjoy myself (how can you not when you get MULTIPLE celebrations?=D)

And lastly, i still got my share of birthday smses, msns, facebook, friendster and the hallmark e-card from gan that comes every year, without fail =DDDDDD and some presents i guess

So the significant events according to which one comes first LOL

Thirteen March. Met up with Songen, Kennard, XiongLong and Benji at hub after my ITB exam. Went to NTUC to get Salmon sushi. Played pool while waiting for jiaqi and the movie(they played, i watched). Saw Shengwen and Weida too lol Jiaqi came and we went to the cinema. Got ourselves popcorn and drinks and yeah. After the movie we went to Cafe Cartel at Bishan. We all had bread and coke, and i had Haiwaiian Pork Ribs for my main course, 2calamari rings and a scallop from jiaqi and ice-cream which we all shared(except for songen and xionglong who left earlier, but we were joined by bryan and nicholas lol so yeah the ice cream was shared with the latter that came)

Today. Met up with Alan Lee at AMK hub at 10 in the morning. Had lunch at the Tea House beside hub. I had Claypot porridge and iced milk tea while he had chicken chop rice. His treat, of course lol After lunch we walked around hub and he got me a new notebook! and a birthday card which he bought on the spot and wrote on the spot hahaha and after that we went to his busstop and waited, his bus came and i crossed the overhead bridge to mine

While i was waiting for my bus, Xiuhao came along, and then kenneth. So i decided to take the bus with them since we have the same destination in mind, Ngee Ann Poly lol But had to miss one bus cause joel was so damn slow and he was the last to reach the busstop. So after that we took the bus to ngee ann lor, nothing interesting lar. They were talking about NPCC and playing the rubics cube, it was pretty boring i might as well take the bus alone but ahwell. At least i wasn't late

They went to the Staff hub while i met up with my classmates. Went to the subordinates court, where we had a lecture and then some exploration and i got to sit at the Accused stand, which was pretty cool, which i mentioned earlier. And then we were dismissed at four and i made a last minute decision to visit my cousins!

So from china town went to farrer park and over to their house! I was glad to see that my grandma's feeling better already lol when i arrived she was cooking! Too bad i had a meeting later or i would have stayed for dinner. Nothing beats a home cooked meal especially when cooked by people you love lol okay so all we did was talk and made plans for sunday lol and at 6.15 my cousin walked me out to the busstop, i took the bus and mrt and went to amk central mac to meet Quah Soo Mei aka Spermy LOL

At 7 SM finally came and we had dinner at Nebo(nah the hot guy wasn't there). Lol the stupidest thing happened. She ordered Spagetti and i ordered Fish and wedges and then we order another set of wedges cause none of use noticed that my meal had wedges in it already, and the extra set of wedges came in a basket, so there was a lot of wedges lol hahahha so yeah we had our dinner and chattt and with our takeaway wedges(obviously we couldn't finish lar) we took 88 to the spectacle shop near her house so i could get my specs repaired and then we walked back to her busstop to wait for my bus while we continued chatting. Just like the olddddd tiimmmeeessssss lol :)

And then she surprised me with a birthday present! Lol it was a stone with stuff written on it with correction fluid and a small note in this small little bag which she pulled until hmmm.... lol but it was a really thoughtful gift lol you know, it's not the regular teddy bears or chocolates you get when your friends don't know what to get you. It's the kind that puts a smile on your face whenever you look at it and you know what? It's going into my little collection of stuff i bring along with me everywhere, including my lucky stone, my moodring, an australian 20cents coin and an old singapore $1 coin lol i just bring these stuff with me all the time and look at them when im scared or need courage or when im sad or whatever so the stone has great sentimental value lol

Yup and thats all for what's been going on till now, and here's what i'm looking forward to!

Later today(cause it's after 12) meeting up with nigel to watch L Change the World. He got me something for my birthday i think, which really surprised me cause i never thought he would lol considering the fact that we never remembered each other's birthdays for the past four years despite numerous reminders hahahah and after the movie we're heading down to the IT Fair and i'll be meeting my dad and getting my laptop!

On sunday, meeting up with Bryan for a japanese movie(i forgot the name) at PS and then Felicia will join us and we'll be going to vivo for a cosplay event! (For those who don't know, they're my precious little cousins)(quite contradicting actually, because they're both taller then me o0)

Next friday, FINALLY meeting and catching up with Denise and Serene! Programmes unplanned but haha the three shorties in action again! YAY lol

Yeah and that's all for now, i think hahahhaha

Yeah it's a loooonnngggggg post eh hahahahha

Oh and also, i would like to thank those people whom in someway or another made my birthday a happy one, whether it was through a dinner or lunch date, birthday card, presents, sms, msn, friendster or facebook. Really appreciate it.

And last but not least Quah Soo Mei for the thoughtful little stone haha which i really really love and appreciate =D

Yupyups, and of cause i can't thank god enough for sending such good friends into my life =DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
