Australia trip part 2 (day5-8)

Konichiwa!
Just woke up at 1:34 (lol once again i slept late the previous night, bout 4am hahahah). As much as i would love to go back to watching my death note, i've decided to put that aside first and blog bout the rest of the trip in Australia. Why? Because i'm gonna be too busy for that later and memories are fading fast, so it's better if i pen(blog/type) it down quickly! And besides, it's something i never want to forget (it being my first trip overseas WITHOUT my parents), no matter how boring it might be lol no offence!
So here goes.
Day5, Monday, 14/01/08
Up by 9 as usual. Bread, milo and pills for breakfast. Slacked infront of the computer, watched lucky star and at 11+, HR made sushi roll! Took him almost 2hours to finish making bout 8 humongous sushi rolls (ingredients: seaweed, rice, avocado, crabmeat/egg, mayonaise, i think that's all hahaha) It tasted pretty good but it was too huge for my mouth so i had a few near choke experiences hahaha And because they were big i was stuffed before i had 10 of it (he cut the bigbig sushi rolls into 40+ smaller ones, but it's still big lol). Think i ate about 8 lol. Back to the computer after lunch as by that time it was too late to go out and the malls close at 5 so there really isn't any point anymore. Watched some more lucky star lol and i gotta say the girl in blue hair highly resembles kennard. In the whole obsessed with games and anime part, not the part where she's short, cute and cheerful, and weird, because that's me! hahahah and kennard's an emo kid sooooo.... After i got bored i went to sleep and then dinner, tv (watched the simpsons i think) and again to the park for the swings and the stars! Came back bout 9+, shower, and two more episodes of lucky star!
Day6, Tuesday, 15/01/08
Woke up at 7 actually but went back to sleep till 8.30 so i totally missed out the part where HR prepared the pancake mixture lol but saw him um, put it in the pan and flip it though, many times in fact lol Breakfast at 10, and i only had one pancake. The pancake was great, but because i took a longer time to chew and swollow by the time i finished the first one i was pretty full already. After breakfast watched many episodes of lucky star with hongrui on his/my bed cause some guy was doing repairs/something in/near the computer room lol Lunch after that (fried rice) and then we hit the mall! Karrinyup again (also the mall i went on the first day) but this time i bought lotsa stuff. Candy cuffs and invisible writing set from S?crates, some souvenirs(pen and keychain set, keychain), some thing to make a vortex in a bottle from australian geographic, and four tops from jayjays and roads. LOl spent $140 in less then 3hours lol after that when i tried to convince HR i wasn't like that in singapore, he didn't believe me -_- But really! I hardly spend so much in a day in singapore, $70tops lol. Guilty pleasure ^^ but anyway left at 4 and went home. Lucky star, dinner (take away chashew rice, which i didn't finish haha) and to the park! My last night with the stars ='( Back home, bathed, slack lol
Day7. Wednesday, 16/01/08
Woke up at 9.20, breakfast(home-made bread), morning nap, lunch(noodles) then went out with HR and his parents. First to a humongus warehouse that sells everything D.I.Y and stuff, jiahao and gang would luuurrveeee the place i tell you! Then to harvey norman/ikea to get dunno what, lol didn't pay attention to what cousin was getting cause i was watching tv lol went to the city after that. Souvenir shops! And i managed to get everyone on my last something! haha and a new top for me too! Went to chinatown to get 2packs of nougharts and to king's park. Walked around, took pictures, look a people make out on the grass lol Next was dinner at Matsuki, japanese restraurant. Had salmon don. Loved the green tea, and the salmon of course but too much rice! Back home, packed up my luggage, figured out me and HR's 8characters (shen chen ba yi lol) and stuff. Our names have the same element in the same order and the same yin/yang order and not to mention the same surname lol hahaha we have a lot in common actually like how both of us don't eat chilli either! I'm sure there are more lol but you know, i didn't have much time to discover the similarities between us so... Anyway, chatted online, shower, chatted some more, cause somebody had to settle his uni stuff -_- so i totally missed the park and the stars, and on my last night too!!! :( BOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Oh and when i started talking to jiahao and joel, they were like, "your back already?" lol like i can't use internet in Australia like that lol okay yeah, went offline at 1 and went to bed!
Day8, thursday, 17/01/08
Last day in Australia :(
Woke up at 9.30, breakfast(bread), packed up some more, slacked around doodling on HR's ex-exam timetable lol Filled up the whole paper and was like, "next time when your stress just look at it!" But of course i'm the only person who found it meaningful and funny lah, cause HR's such a serious guy lol Had lunch, then we went to the park! It was a lot less fun cause HR was moody and i don't know why lol Maybe because of the heat or something. And i was trying to convince him that it's the simple things in life that makes people happy lol like going on the swing (closest you can get to flying, unless you count jumping off a 60storey high building) and watching the stars, but he's like, "doing it alone? Not much fun." or something like that hahaha but despite his moodiness, i tried to keep myself cheerful lol cause i didn't want my last few hours to be a sad and angry one and besides, i won't be seeing him anymore for a long period of time so we shouldn't end it uglily yeah. Yeah, went back home, picked up my luggage and left! Went to innaloo first cause HR had to post something and his parents needed to get something hahahha then to the airport. Checked in and stuff, then sat upstairs near the departure halls. It was kidna awkward lah lol i didn't know how to react really. I'm bad at separations lol don't know whether to be tearful or put on a smile lol but yeah, when the time came i went in. No hugs, no handshakes, just goodbyes (kinda sad actually, was hoping for one last hug but hahahaha nvm!) So yeah, went through the customs and to the boarding area. But seeing that i still had 50minutes left, i went to the souvenir shops inside lol and got myself a kangaroo keychain, a bookmark, a cup, a set of keychains, and a ring for jiaqi. Went back to the boarding area and um, board the plane and no i wasn't late, and i didn't almost missed my flight or anything like that haha
Flight back alone
This time, i had a philipino sitting beside me, 2seats away actually hahaha and again im at seat 43A, the same seat i had when i first came to australia but different flight though, to perth was SQ225, from Perth was SQ226 lol yeah, listened to Hannah Montana 2 again, watched The Heartbreaker Kid and also Seeker: The Dark Is Rising lol. Then some angmoh came to sit beside me to watch movie cause the programme at his seat had something wrong. Young angmoh lol i'm a very lucky person =) You know when your high up in the sky, you can see drastic changes. One minute it was sunset and the sky was reddish, but the next minute i looked out the window, the plane seemed to have plunged into a sea of darkness. Can't see shit except the light blinking weakly at the end of the wings lol And from the lights, you can see if the plane's going through turbulence haah When it's stable, the light hardly moves, but when you go through turbulence, it shivers, you know, like unprotected flame lol and our plane did! It was fun hahaha like a rollar coaster ride lol i know turbulences can be dangerous but my 6th sense told me we're gonna arrive in singapore safe and sound that's why i enjoyed the turbulence haha And when we were landing, i looked out across singapore and realised there were bright lights everywhere! Light pollution! Totally spoilt the night sky, maybe that's why we can't see stars in singapore. BBBOOOOOOOOO But yeah, got off the plane, and one of the ground crew escorted me halfway, then i went through the customs myself, got my luggage from belt 26, and when i walked out, there was nobody. Called my mum and guess what? My mum, aunt and maid are all eating at the foodcourt downstaris -_- apparently they got my timing wrong and my dad was late! Yeah, so i went down to the foodcourt, got tei bing (tea ice) haha and ate a piece of bread, was full from the meal on flight lol Passed the chocolate to the sushi uncle who obviously already forgotten bout us -_- then went home lor lol Unpacked everything, bathed, and went to sleep!
LOL Phew! Finally finished typing! hahaha took awhile there lol read it if your really bored, but if your not, just skip it lol ohwait. i'm writing this at the end of the post so it really defeats the purpose eh hahahahah =P
And hongrui, dear cousin, i miss you already!
