Life's Too Short To Dwell On The Unfortunate
Wednesday, March 21, 2007
Here's a poem i wrote in secondary2 for a literature project. I found it in my thoughtsofalonelymind blog. hahahah well its an unpolished work, but i'm very proud of it! :) Enjoy.
Seconds are ticking, minutes are passing
Time is slipping, never waiting
So seize the day, be high on life
For you never know, what tomorrow's bringing
Be joyous and lively, don't let your moods be dampened
For there are reasons, why things should happen
Sit back and chill out, don't let it get to you
For life's too short for you to drag it through
Don’t think too much, don't dwell on life's debris
Throw it all out, have it unleashed
And sing a song, carefree and gay
Let your troubles slip away
Do not keep to yourself, set your spirit free
Where it can party in favorable glee
Let it bask in laughter and of fun
Let it sing and dance in presence of the sun
Seconds are ticking, minutes are passing
Time is slipping, never waiting
So let tomorrow bring what may
Cover the darkness of everyday
